Mizpah Lodge Bloemfontein

I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. The chicken was dry and the fried chickpeas mushy. It was such a confusion when we had to pay, having to recall everything we had eaten so they could bring up the bill. They ended up overcharging for two additional meals which they fortunately did do an instant eft for when we phoned them. The owner put a tray into my hands and told me I can clear the table for them, which I don't mind doing if that's the normal thing to do at the restaurant, but it didn't seem like the case. His son did apologise for the odd request. The atmosphere was at least nice outside in nature. I liked the donkeys.

Great place to go to. The food is amazing, the service is perfect and the owners are so friendly and hands-on. The garden is huge and beautiful. The best bonus of all is that it's the only pet friendly place in Bloemfontein so I don't need to leave my furry friends at home.

We were there for an introductory session on essential oils. Arrived earlier for a coffee/drink. Trading hours are from 9:00 until 15:00 which is weird. People are very friendly.

The shwarma there is the best I had so far, nd the coffee just right. All round the best place to enjoy a good meal on a Sunday

This was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had at an lodge. We had no hot water, the room was filled with spiderwebs end spiders and there was an awful odor hanging in the room. We've attempted to phone the owner seven times with no answer or contacting us back. I will not recommend this lodge to any person.

Lovely place in nature, but just note that dogs have to stay on a leash.Rooms: 4/5
