The cuisine is very fusion-like where most dishes are Asian inspired but with western style ingredients. The presentation of the the dishes are very good and most dishes are very tasty. Unfortunately, some of the sauces on the dish are way too sweet, and the beef skewers were very tough. Overall, the flavour is good but just need some slight adjustment on the sauce.
Decided to give this restaurant a try. It was really empty just due to some bad weather but it made the dinning experience nicer especially during covid however one disappointing thing to see was when two customers came in, sat down, looked and the menus and decided to leave. Once they had left the two tables they sat at weren't sanitized after them. Food wise, stunning food. We had two starters and two Momo bowls. Both absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced. The Bangkok Momo bowl is superb, you get a lovely fresh taste of the Thai Basil. The KFC Korean Fried Chicken was tasteful and sticky and the Seoul Bowl was also lovely. We had a really friendly waitress who also made the experience better. Would recommend however ask for your table to be sanitized before you sit down.
Still the best of the Momo's we have tried. Wings are cooked to the perfect texture and the Baos are amazing. We tried the Momo bowel and desserts this time as well. Bowel is well made and flavoured and a good portion of each ingredient. The matcha chocolate tart is a wonderful tasting add on to supper, however the sweet fried buns were a bit mediocre. The service was not very great considering it was a Tuesday and only had 1- 2 other groups at any given time.
We went to MoMo Soko to try out a Korean dish, although the restaurant is more of an Asian fusion aesthetic, we still got quite a good experience. We ordered the Bao & MoMo bowls, both of which were exceptionally good. The ambiance was gentle and calming, our waitress was friendly as well. They also allowed us to bring our Soju Korean vodka as seen on K-drama , thus allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in a Korean night out.
The first time I came here the service wasn’t too good, but because the food was so great decided to come back and this time they did not disappoint. Momo Bowls are packed with flavor and very generous in portions. We tried the Firecracker chicken which was amazing! Only the potstickers were very underwhelming and I would not order them again.
Food was really Devine. Pity the stove wasn’t working so we couldn’t get the full menu. Staff was very friendly with excellent service. Will definitely be back soon.
Just to give you an idea… it was expensive, but only because the food was so good that we ordered 2 meals each. That’s a lot! Also I would recommend anything with lamb, their lamb dishes are pretty darn good.Recommended dishesSzechuan Bowl with Tofu, Deep Sea Bao, PO Bao Buns, Mighty Duck Bao, Poke Bowl of Rice
One of the better Momo restuarants. Great tasting food but just a heads up, as with most they don't serve alcohol so bring your own or you can enjoy their refreshing mocktails.Food: 5/5
Really bad service with a dead beat manager and waitress. No signage, I had to call to find out if the restaurant was actually there and if they were open. That should have been red flag no. 1. The restaurant was devoid of patrons, red flag no.2, but understandably so. We had to ask for cutlery. The mains arrived before the starters. The Kalbi starter arrived last and was as tough as shoe leather. The Shechuan Momo bowl had more onions than chicken. The Haku skewers were so tough, you couldn’t get it off the skewer. Really unpleasant experience in terms of service and food and would NOT go back.
I found the food ok... some dishes were nice but some I really was not fond of. The vibe of the place was amazing and staff is super friendly. Personally for me the food did not have the wow factor.
