Went for Ladies Night, besides the waitress...she & I where the only ladies. Plus it was the waitress first day on the job, so she had no idea what was going on. Shame, we felt her sorry at least gave her a nice tip. The food was below average. I was looking forward to dancing the night, but the venue was so empty...I decided to rather watch the game.
Really nice vibe and feel - good enough for a late night bite and also good for a vibe - a bit quiet or not so popular so the crowd doesn’t always pop.
Got here before the evening rush. Was quiet and relaxed.
This place is just awesome, the owner of the place always go out of his way to see the customers happy.Food: 5/5
Would not recommend wasting any money and time here. The owners of the restaurant were incredibly rude and arrogant as well as classist as various negative remarks were made by them openly in front of their customers . They failed to deliver on an order that our table had paid for and had falsely advertised drink specials to patrons that upon arrival were not delivered. We cannot have unity in this country when "professionals" are handling a business while making subtle derogatory comments about customers. In a new South Africa this place is run by individuals who at heart are utterly appalling.
Very disappointed in my experience at Monkeybluz this past weekend. Menus for bottles were tippexed out. Waiting staff were few, rude and would make very unnecessary facial expressions when asked for help. Service was slow and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Worst of all, management walked around the event making rude and racist remarks about customers and performers. 0/10; Would not recommend for dining or event hosting.
If I could rate this place less than one star, I would. Would I go back? Never ever. We arrived there as a group of 4. Not alot of people were at the place, to be quite frank, we were the only people there. No drinks menu, the drinks we wanted, they didn't have. The music was way too loud. We ordered food, which we waited over 2 hours to receive, waiters and waitresses were nowhere to be found. While we were waiting, we saw a food delivery bike, seems like the food isn't made there. When the food got there, it was not worth the wait, the prawns had a foul smell, the meat had too much salt, everything is just wrong about that place. They even gave us short change and their card machine wasn't working they must just close that place down, it's awful honestly.

Terrible place to spend the weekend. The owners and one of the waiters tried to beat up one of the guests for simply trying to call his friend from inside. The food was under-cooked and the manager was far too busy texting on her phone to tend to the needs of the customers. Definitely not a place i'll be returning to anytime soon
