Monument Pharmacy

Had a clinic appointment there on the 31/7. When I got there for it was shouted at the door that they are closed for stock take and that the sister did not come in today. Very unprofessional. Still got a sms the day before to remind me of my appointment. Last time I will use that pharmacy.

I'm a homeopathic person so i don't hang out at pharmacies much and i don't know what pharmacy staff etiquette actually is, but i assumed it would be the same as a department store. You come in, they ask if they can help, you say no i'm just browsing, then they hang out close to you in case you need something. When i walked in, nobody noticed. That's ok. Browsing some cheap items, no service. Walking toward the back of the store, one of the tannies at the store came over and offered help. We said we're just browsing. But tannie didn't stand a courteous distance and let us speak in private about what we would like to purchase. No, tannie was hovering and watching us a little too close for comfort. The only thing we ended up buying was a toothbrush. and after treating us like criminals we realised they robbed us with a R2. Marked down on the shelf but you still pay full price. Then it took forever just to reverse a R2. Was a most unpleasant experience and will never return to this place again. Get some security cameras if you're afraid of thieves but treating everyone like thieves will certainly help you lose customers.

Excellent service from the friendly pharmacists on duty, if they are out of stock they will order it for you.

Although it's an old pharmacy it is a well run pharmacy. Always had what I was looking for. Always friendly staff.

Perfect place to get meds however there's loads of dodgy people around the place especially the parking lot
