M&B Clearwater Mall is a great place for daytime Coffee, Breakfast and light lunches. It's Mugg N Bean. Not the best or worst place for coffee. It's pretty average so the biggest contributor would be the service received. My waitress was lovely and I appreciated it. The coffee was okay but the carrot cake on the day was fresh, moist and not overly sweet and I liked that.Food: 3/5
Ive come here waiting patiently for a stall with a power outlet. I'd been promised the next available seat with an outlet. But as it became available it was filled with a new customer who did not need the outlet. The door man, manager and my waiter all knew I was waiting. But the rude woman at the other entrance was too proud to admit she messed up and move the new customer giving me the seat I was waiting for. It was only after threatening to leave without paying that suddenly a seat became available. When I eventually get my food the waitress doesn't bother to warn me that my plate is piping hot and hence burn my fingers.
I had to delete my previous review because of my horrible experience on Tuesday. First of a we had to wait 5 minutes by the entrance before we were guided to our table. We placed our order at 18:32 and we only received our order at 19:24. I wish I could say that it was a busy day but unfortunately the restaurant only had 4 tables with customers. By the time we got our food the two tables that came after us hot their meals 5 minutes before we got our food when we were done eating we had to waiting again for our bill and the worst thing about this is that the floor manager was avoiding our table and kept bothering our neighbouring tables by asking them about the food and whether everything was fine and she ignored us as If we were not there. The service was so bad we didn’t even tip the waitress.
Their covid 19 protocol is in place. You feel safe when entering and can relax and enjoy your meal. The waiters are professional and friendly. We ordered our water and food. The food was tasty. I ordered Eggs Benedict it was filling and tasty. My friends ordered different meals and enjoyed their food as well. We ordered  Passion fruit and raspberry to drink. It was a little too sweet to my taste, I add water then it was much better. So if you like sweet feel free to order it. If not try one of the other. We really enjoyed our morning .
The waiter as friendly The services from the manager was non-existent I said when I gave my order NO BREAD but could I get ONE EXTRA slice of tomato I was charged R12.00 for ONE slice of tomato in place of the slice of bread???? The waiter asked me if I wanted any sauces I then ordered hollandaise sauce which comes in those very tiny butter glass bowls and was charged R28.00 of which I had send more than half back should have taken it home I then asked the waiter to call the manager which up till now has not arrived I gave my complaint to the waiter but could see the manager at the till who then reluctantly took off the R12.00 as I then asked for discount on the bread I had not taken My impression was that this particular M&B would charge you for the air you breath in their shop Be assured I will not go back to Clearwater Malls M&B ever again They gave lost me as a customer and hopefully they will understand next time to treat their customers better especially the manager that was on duty Check your bills before paying ay Clearwater Malls M&B

This has become my new work from home space. The recent spate of power failures in the area has seen me become a regular here. I like the work type station set up with multiple plug points for my phone and laptop. Works well if you need to have a virtual meeting however the background noise can be a bit loud if you are hosting or speaking the most during the meeting. I guess it is a coffee shop still after all.
