New Orleans Secondary School

Being a ex-student of this amazing schools makes me proud! This is the best school in South Africa because of the awesome atmosphere created by hard working staff and students that are willing and hungry to learn.

A public high school. The school opened in 1984.That is the school at which I matriculated.Academically I excelled here ,motivated by my peers. We were the best without us realizing our potential. Those were years of turmoil and poverty-stricken. Ďefinitely designed and constructed at a very affordable and functional cost.The school needs urgent renovation. The surrounding communities.need to be served in a dignified and on par with the privileged few who have the means to provide a good education for their children.This school is situated in the so-called disadvantaged area of the colored community .Disadvantages which have not been addressed and redress has not been made. The condition of the school and surroundings hails from the apartheid era.Islands or pockets of poverty-stricken souls waiting, hoping and praying for redress and relief for this our forlorn heritage .Enslaved by a capitalist society we struggle keeping our heads held high above the limitations placed on us by governments with their own agendas.

A very disciplined school where children and teachers treat one another as well as visitors with great respect .

I love the Paarl because there are many memories of me and that is where I grew up
