The library is closed during load shedding and when water is not available. Today for example the library opened at 12H00 due to load shedding and closed again at 14H00 due to water not being available. They are only open when there's a planetary conjunction and unicorns roam the streets. Phone before you go. Staff are friendly and it's a quiet place to study.
Been a while since I've been a library, but I will be going back. Great to find a quiet space in the hustle and bustle of Newton Park. Fair selection of books and a great children's section.

Worst library that I have ever been to. MORE Than 5 people told me they are closing 13:30, I could not even concentrate on what I was doing. On top of that they harass me in the Parking lot telling that they want to close at 13:30.
