Nineteen 89 Plett

Despite construction going on that has taken a large portion of the view this restaurant still has a great view. The menu is very innovative and I was particularly impressed with their watermelon salad that they substituted with strawberry at the time I was there. Very refreshing. The garnishing is alo quite on point. Vegetarian options: Very delicious vegan and vegetarian options. The restaurant has a classy vibrant decor style. The service was great.

We arrived there by accident and I was thrilled about the splendid idea to add to a very good Aperol Spritz some Champagne Sorbet. Absolutely stunning and even more refreshing. I will steal the idea for my guests back at home. Very nice and fun staff. Can't wait to be back.

the food was pretty good although a few details were missing. wish the salad would’ve had a dressing on the side and the curry could’ve been served with a bit more rice. otherwise a wide selection of food, something for every taste :

Lovely views of the bay. Food was good. The kingklip was stunning. Rather a small portion. The milkshakes are really out of this world and something different. Brownie with pistachio ice cream- it's been a long time since having such a top class dessert. The burgers looked mouth watering. I think it would be worth starving myself for a day just to indulge in on. Prices are a bit over the top for what you get though. Vegetarian options: Ample vegetarian options.

Service was excellent. Food looks great. Only complaint is something beyond their control: there's construction going on across the street that can contaminate your food when sitting outside, plus lots of in their outdoor seating.Food: 5/5

Smiley and friendly stuff.. Delicious food Good atmosphere Easy to reach They bring for you a bowl of water and lemon to wash your hands if you order any prawns.. Big thanks for them Kid-friendliness: The kids was more than welcome.. I asked for urgent fries and they did them best to bring it.. Also they was waiting for a bit long for taking yhe kids order..

Great choice of food and friendly staff. Everything was delicious and the food came on time. Especially the Oreo Milkshake you need to try. We would recommend to book a table.

Very nice positioned restaurant overlooking the main street though Plett. You can sit here and watch the world go by and you have a small view of the ocean . They have a lot of alcoholic beverages to choose from from drafts to gin and very nice looking cocktails The food is very well presented and the burgers have unique combinations, they also cater heavily for the vegans and vegetarians. We had the god father burger and the Mexican burger but with a beef pattie instead of the veg burger pattie that came with it ...note the pic shows the veg burger as they did not change it as was planned but they did quickly rectify this mistake by bring my burger back out with the beef pattie. Over all it was a very good experience with the staff being very friendly and helpful, only thing I will say is that it's very pricey as the bill was over 500 rand but even being so I would come back. Another note the side with the burger could of been more as it was a bit bare.

Unbelievable food. The burger on a bowl was outstanding. The Lamb shank was unexpected. A bit too acidic but still delicious. Wish we had more time to go back again! Definitely the best meal we've had in Plett, and that says a lot as there are many superb restaurants in the area.Food: 5/5

Highly recommend the Nineteen 89. We went there every day of our 4-day stay in Plett, amazing food, service and ambience. Best Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris in town. Seared tuna steak to die for, great chicken burger and Steaks Portugese steak was a bit hot for us to handle but the staff was very helpful and sorted it out Massive thank you to Storm and Joe who were looking after us during our visits - absolute legends!
