The only place in this town to get a great cup of coffee, cappuccino or latte. Farmhouse breakfast is not bad but comes with scrambled eggs, they don't do chips. Lamb pie not bad and they make various sandwiches on their home made seeded bread. Ask for the type of sandwich you want as only one or two listed on the board. Some of the sandwiches are quite expensive.
Looking amazing after revamp and reopening. The best lamb pie in the country and then the local indigenous chutney on the side too!. Incredible coffee and cakes too. WiFi was perfect. Definitely worth a stop to see for yourself :
Best coffee out of Cape Town! Yummy goodies to have there or take away. LOVE the home made coffee ice-cream!
Enjoyed the experience...look at the beautiful decor they have, very innovative I must say...Food: 5/5
Wow, a gem in a very unassuming town! It was wonderful - fresh, tasty carrot cake and quality coffee, serced by charming locals. This place deserves a visit and a pat on the back. May they do well for themselves!
Fresh, tasty food, amazing coffee and excellent service. Definitely worth the stop. Warm, homey atmosphere.
What a lovely stop over place for a quick bite to eat. The setting is beautiful, service is friendly, and the smoothies are yummy. The other food on offer looked amazing too.Food: 5/5

A lovely quaint place with good food and coffee. The lamb pies are the best and the homemade ice-cream is to die for.Food: 5/5
What a beautiful spot. Oma Miemies is an oasis on the long drive up to Namibia, amd it is no secret that they sell THE BEST pies with some delicious flavours - lamb, coriander and peach or lamb and tomato and rosemary? Why choose when you can take one as padkos! If you are looking for something sweeter, their carrot cake is to die for. It is the perfect texture, not too sweet with the tastiest cream-cheese icing. I was staying in the area for a couple of nights and went to the café 3 out of the 4 days i was there!
