The new premises is great! Way better than the old one. The automated ticket system works well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Very refreshing dealing with a government department and it's actually pleasant.

I must be very honest, i was quite shocked at the new revamped office, more order, friendly security, in and out service. I applied for a drivers license renewal and was expecting to spend the entire day standing in ques, however to my surprise i was in and out withing the hour. Definitely recommended as one of the best center's situated in the south of Johannesburg.

Worse service ever. We closing because we don’t have water come back tomorrow. I came back the next day we off line find a post office knowing South Africa doesn’t have post offices any more.

I did my driving test here and must say the staff are all friendly! What I especially appreciated was that they do not take bribes. There is adequate social distancing and there are sanitisers at the door. The building itself is clean and well maintained.

I went for my drivers card renewal and temp license. Friendly, safe and efficient! You HAVE to book online for an appointment. I also took my own eye test and x2 black & white photos along, but you can have them done there too. I arrived 1 hour before my appointment as per the recommendation. Google Maps Directions were spot on! Safe parking inside shopping centre parking area. Social Distancing definitely adhered to inside with staff sanitizing in between each customer. Staff all wore masks. Seating and standing areas were clearly marked inside to avoid crowding of customers. However on arrival social distancing outside not practised so much where you log in and have your temp taken, I was a bit concerned and it gives a not so good first impression of general confusion. BRING YOUR OWN PEN! Staff friendly and directions good inside, staff outside could improve their approach a little bit...Once allowed inside first go to reception to get the form to fill in, the online download form is incorrect as the dept logo is missing off it. Then you get pointed to the eye section. Then back to reception, then off to the cashiers. Then back to reception again. A smooth and well directed process, as each staff member at each station you leave directs you clearly to the next. Well done Xavier DLTC!i

No service at all!!! Employees are all sitting at reception chatting and drinking coffee. Absolutely rubbish service, nobody cares

It was actually quick except that the staff are not friendly... When there's load shedding they don't operate but I know they working on that currently but overall there's a huge improvement compared to the previous years

Super efficient and helpful staff. Managed to be done with everything within an hour.

Poor service, rude and uncooperative staff. Sad. Lady was crying been coming there since November last year. Was our third time but at least got the card.

I went for my license renewal today, I received an amazing service from the staff, they were so friendly and efficient. Keep it up team Xavier
