We had a lovely day out at the Oval watching the Dolphins vs the Lions. It really is a lovely old ground and it is a pity that there is not more cricket here. The maintenance behind the embankments needs some work. But I loved this walk down memory lane!

First time saw this ground in the 2003 world cup. Happy to see again this.

Lots of history of this old field. Classic field. Must be 1 of the only fields with a tree in play.

We won, but we didn't get the best treatment from the hosts from KZNI

The only cricket oval in the world allowed to have a tree in it . Very beautiful with lots of history.  If only it was well looked after

Would be nice if some money could be used to look after the historical buildings at the cricket oval

Still a beautiful place but desperately in need of some overdue maintenance

Besides a beautiful cricket field. It has a beautiful venue to hire out for different functions.

Only two international matches played here.  Speciallity in this ground is tree inside the ground
