Well stocked. Friendly staff and neat store. Not the best part of town though.
We went to this store to collect an order of cables. The store informed us that our order was ready for collection. When we arrived our cables were nowhere to be found. Our attendant seemed somewhat flustered that he couldn't find said order and tried to help us by suggesting alternatives to our original order. This store seemed under-stocked, staff came across as lethargic. The experience was opposite to the expectation of being in a music instruments store. Oh well...
An awesome store with great people running it, who understand what looking after their customer base and building relationships is all about. I do guitar lessons covering the Southern Suburbs and these guys are fantastic at taking care of all my students' needs. Thank you, Jerome, and your team
Bothners Claremont never fails to amaze me every time I pay them a visit. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and are more than happy to assist with all manner of queries. I wish to extend a further thank you to Oliver Saggerson, who has always provided top notch advice and guidance on setting up my guitar and for carrying out nothing less than excellent guitar set-up and alteration work.

Great staff great prices One stop for all your music equipments. Sound cards microphone guitars drums and more They also repair guitars.
Small store but has a really homely feel. Staff are very helpful. Took my guitar in there the other week and the guitar tech was happy to help Thanks Oliver.
Coming to Bothners is like being welcomed home. The staff are kind, informative and always willing to help and offer advice on any and all queries you may have. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.
The veteran of music equipment in Cape Town like it or not. If you are not buying from Paul Bothners then you probably need to visit one of their stores. They take time to listen to your equipment needs and will work with you to find the best deal for you.
Nice big shop, helpful staff, lots of equipment on display. Banjos. They had banjos. That's cool. Also, having a big sale which was a bonus
