Pelonomi Tertiary Hospital

My brother Frik de Beer passed away in the ambulance on his way to Pelonomi Hospital.I phoned the hospital early this morning to find out how he was. I spoke to sister Dorothy. She broke this sad news to me so kindly. Thank you sister Dorothy for your condolences. The hospital is Lucky to have you. God bless you and your wonderful work

Not the best hospital at all. They admit people and then your bed is a couch because there is No Beds available so please explained why don't you transfers your patients to other hospitals... Pregnant women are not suppose to sleep on couch...

Terrible hospital, my sister's wrist is broken been laying in hospital for 13 days still no operation date or doctor.

Waiting time for medical clinic can take up to 2 hours

I'm in utter shock of what took place there yesterday evening. I was brought in by the ambulance because I was involved in a accident. As much as I wasn't badly injured, my back, specifically lower back was painful. They made me walk to admin office. The doctor asked a nurse to escort me to the x-ray and her response was, she managed to walk to admission so I'll manage. I kept quiet and she walked with me to the door and thereafter pointed where I should go. I had mentioned that I am not familiar with hospital but still. I got to the xray there was two of them, only to learn after about 8 minutes waiting that the other lady was the one doing xray and she commented but you can walk, why an xray. I am disappointed by the service and disinterested art from nurses at the trauma emergency room.

The service is not good my dad couldn't breath one of the nurse said to me... She can't help me because she doesn't work here in this room wow must ask the nurses in the other room they were standing & talking my poor dad couldn't even breath right I scream & then they came.... I wish the service was better then my dad would be alive today...... If that one nurse could have just help my dad he would have made it.... Service there is very very bad

Mothers have to wait for the letter from the hospital that's needed to register their babies at Internal Affairs. Some mothers visit the hospital a couple of times after they have been discharged with their babies, to ask for the mentioned letter. Rude staff tell them that the matter of these letters are 'under discussion' and that they must return at a later date to receive it.

My mom was transferred from Kroonstad to this hospital, she is missing they x6 people cannot find her and said she never pitched up there. I have been on the phone for about an hour and I still cannot trace her. The other state hospital does not answer the phones! Kroonstad hospital managed to trace my mom at this hospital but now she in the transferal ward and no one answers the phones. Sometimes someone picks up and puts down again and this is the second day that we trying to reach the "referral ward" :-

Poor service. Suspect element of racial preferences. My sister waited for admission whole day being told no beds yet non black races kept on being Registered and progressed to respective ward. We spent 10 hrs after admission just waiting for bed to be available in ward. This happened on 27/02/18.
