Pennylane Guest House - Ermelo

Our car broke down and needed a place to sleep on short notice, Pennylane Guest house was the first place we came across and what a blessing that was. The owners were very helpful and kind hosts. The room was great, so was the WiFi and the breakfast. We couldn't have stayed in a better place.Rooms: 5/5

If you haven't been in this Guest House, I dare you to come and spend at least one or two nights, you'll see for yourself a great service they offer . I enjoyed each and every single moment @ Pennylane Guest House. Rooms: Beautiful and clean Safety: Too safe. Walkability: You can walk about 6 minutes from town Food & drinks: The food they offered me was too good and they keep on coming to check if you are still doing okay.

I stayed over at Pennylane in Ermelo on a work trip opening a store in the new Merino Mall in town. The owners are very welcoming and willing to assist. I stayed in Room 8, with a double bed, a microwave and fridge. The shower was very spacious. A colleague stayed in the family suit No. 4 with a double bed and 2 singles - the shower in this room is rather small. The bed was very comfortable. A breakfast is offered with the standard selection. All in all a pleasant stay if you're ever in Ermelo.

From the time that I phoned until the end I was treated with the greatest respect and integrity by Sue and Charles. The room was more than what I expected, clean, comfortable, everything was just perfect. The time that Charles spend with me to explain everything, perfect. The breakfast that was prepared for me was just perfect. I could feel that what they do, comes from a place of love and care. Being on a business trip and having to use the Wifi, speed is excellent. Secure and undercover parking provided. Loadshedding, not at this establishment because they have an emergency power generator that is catering for the total electricity required. What a wonderful experience. I wish I can give you more than 5 stars. Thank you guys and keep up the spirit and the big smiles.

We had a wonderful time at Penny Lane Guest House on the night of 26 November 2021. A great service from the owners. Rooms are very neat. Loved the beautiful gardens and decor in the dining area. I enjoyed the stories about their two cute dogs Penny and Rosy. Thank you for hosting us.

Hosts George and Sue are great. Very helpful and attentive. Only minor drawback was no A/C but they provide fans - it was cool enough in the evening to be fine with the fans on. We would definitely stay here again when in Ermelo.Rooms: 4/5
