It is a lovely gym with everything you need. It is just very small and gets especially tight when it gets busy. There are a few minor other things that have been suggested, etc, where they have not even bothered to note to improve where possible. Overall, it is VERY clean and well organized. Personally, I think the small space is not worth how much I pay every month.
I love coming to this gym every week, yes its small but i know exactly where everything is. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Gym equipment is very clean and organized.
Absolutely shocking service. My account was meant to be frozen a month ago due to me being unemployed. The forms everything was completed and I was assured that all was handled and there would be NO COST involved to freeze my account for 3 months.Some staff members have the attitude that they are doing you a massive favour simply by having to return a call. Not only were my forms not submitted, but I've been debited for this month also which means I can now no longer afford to buy my epilepsy medication and other chronic medication. I have been promised feedback but nothing and I have to follow up!!! Will never go back to a virgin active club again
I have been at this branch twice when someone's lockers got broken into. Stay far away. And the management couldn't care less to help the victims look at footage and pinpoint possible culprits. I'll much rather go to the Hillcrest branch.
A very nice gym, must admit! To be honest, I liked this one more than the one in the Cape! The staff is very friendly and helps you with whatever you need with a pleasure. The gym is a kids-friendly place. For the smaller ones there is a safe area with a lady taking care of the process You can also find a person who will train your kids in the pool for extra payment. Gym is big and well equipped. You can find sauna, shower, dressing area there. I was enjoying it. I take a star off because my Victoria Secret bra was stolen from the changing room.. Shame..
Been body building here for months. Friendly staff, friendly people. Edit to review: The gym's machinery is in a much better state. I find now that a machine going out of order takes at maximum 2 days to get fixed. Which I would say is a whole lot better than 2 months. I would not be surprised if the General Manager saw this review and amped up the pressure on the suppliers. And to that I say. Virgin Active Kloof is now my favorite gym to go to. Ramping up my rating to 5 stars
Excellent staff and facilities. Cannot fault the place. Top class.
Service is great and the gym experience is something to look forward to. The gymimg equipment is also easy to use, which makes the experience even much better.
Where is management? I have not trained for a while and started today. There is rust on equipment, the one water fountain was not working. Come on, you can do better than this.
Great gym and facilities. Due to covid they have limited the number of machines/ equipment. One bench press rack, two squat racks, two Smith machines, and limited treadmills and other machines. You may have to wait to use or do something else before you can use the racks.
