Friendly staff and excellent service. The chicken strip bucket was ok, seemed like the last of the batch for the day. The Lamb bunny chow tasted great and there were almost no bones with lost of soft tender meat. We where given an extra bowl of curry sauce free of charge which just made the meal more special. The bathroom and tables are clean, but the menus could use a rub down. Overall experience was lovely and I would definitely come again.
Amazing Food, with great daily specials. Stunning views with helpful courteous staff. The bunny chows are amazing. Wide variety of cocktails and specialty drinks.
I would give negative stars if they existed. Good presentation of the food
Went there with a group of friends after we just arrived in Durban and were checking out the beach. You sit inside which is open and you can hear the beach which we really liked. There were not a lot of people at the restaurant when we were there. The menu was small and some meals were not available. Also no alcohol was served while there are big posters on the wall of the restaurant about alcoholic drinks? We enjoyed our food since it was okay, but a lot was already cooled down quite a bit. I had the spareribs which were prepared well. My friend had a steak which he wanted medium but was actually baked soo dry and also was served cold. Would not recommend this, especially since there are so many other restaurants in walking distance on the beach. Waiter was nice though.
The food was amazing. The food portions are also quite big and affordable. 1/2 chicken and 400g ribs only costs R155 and the portion of ribs is much bigger than the portion you get at places like Dros or Spur. They have this hot sauce which they bring in a tiny bowl, pour it with care. All in all, the place has amazing food but the lighting is a bit off if you go at night, the blue LED lights kind of prevents the clear view of your food. Another nice thing is that the place is overlooking the beach.
One of my favourite KZN hangouts. Lamb curry had lots of bones and no meat - it was promptly replaced with a delicious beef curry with no bones. Great views, good food, decent service.
Great breakaway restaurant conveniently located opposite Durban’s Golden Mile. We ordered the Waffle and Ice Cream R40.00 as well as their Hot Chocolate R20.00 which both was thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well.
Seafood lovers stay away from this place. They have no idea how to make seafood. Rather have bunny chow... Honestly their seafood is terrible. Let's not forget that seafood is not cheap. I want quality for your money.
Great service. Excellent curry. Part of a real Durban experience. Unfortunately the area is not what it used to be but pier 107 remains a must visit classic.
Had a visitor from JHB and drove all the way from Amanzimtoti just for a bunny chow, got there and they had no mutton but did have beef so we went with a beef and then got told there is no bread and they can't simply buy a bread from any store it needs to be delivered, I explained again I drove all the way from Toti especially for a beef bunny and the anser is just sorry..
