The staff are very friendly, however checking in was somewhat inefficient. Under cover parking is available at an additional fee. There are only two small guest elevators for a 15 storey building which is totally inadequate. The rooms are spacious and clean with good views of the beach and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool, spa and gym. Breakfast is available at an additional fee.
Negative sides: Wi-fi hardly worked. Most of the time only one elevator worked - in the building of 15 levels. We had to call for airport shuttle to return for us. While we were waiting more than 5 minutes for the elevator and they thought we resigned, and departed without us. Luckily they returned to pick us up. Positive side: Very good location. Self-catering studio we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. Beaches are just opposite the road. Kwikspar in the ground floor.
I actually reside in the above mentioned, since it is no longer a resort, it was a nice clean and quiet place to stay in, but now its a total mess, changed security company, remotes not working, tenants playing loud music even at midnight, bins not emptied regularly, reception area always full and noisy, partying at night till late, Its been a year six months staying here but it is not the same and I don't enjoy my stay here anymore.
Self catering accommodation in South Beach. I would not readily want to visit it again. It was noisy with residents allowed to play loud music through the night.
Direction to Resort not clear. Flexible Club still has this resort as Durban Sands. It took us an hour to find the resort. Staff very uninformed and needs more Trainiing.
I will never go here again. Not a upmarket place. Okay if you work close by. Too much Hoooting of Taxis. They have everything but not a place for me. WiFi Internet don't work mostimes. Regards from Mr Bux
It was a lekker experience. Rooms very spacious open plan design . A full kitchen with fridge and microwave. Staff where always friendly
Stunning block set in the hustle and bustle of Little Nigeria formerly known as Durban beachfront. An oasis amongst the desert of decay, crumbling rotting slum blocks, prostitutes, drugs and crime.
Not that a great place for a family stay. But it's good for backpackers. It's close to beach and Ushaka marine walking distance.
This was a vaccation of a life time, I went once in 2016 August on a school trip entirely its the best place to be for a vaccation in S.A. Haters may object but this place is the best..
