Clippers Cafe Bar, South Beach, Durban!!

View from Clippers Tropicana hotel is so nice. Can see the sea from terrace. Can sit here from morning till evening. Their breakfast and lunch and dinner also nice.

Kind service. The food tasted good. The decor and setting is definitely from another era. It wasn't busy when we went evening and the seating arrangement allowed for a cosy feeling that's provides privacy and yet still allows one to soak in the ambience of the restaurant. Very good service.

Good, hearty, fresh food that's budget friendly

Ordered the mutton bunny as a take away. The waiter told us there were only 4 left. I voiced my concerns about what was left at the bottom of the pot as a joke. When we got back we found that there was lots of gravy no mate nor potatoes. What a disappointment !!!

No regard for the customers, as we went there to enjoy a meal and watch a good game, the owner decided to watch his own TV programme and still increase the volume, making it very difficult for us to hear and enjoy our match. All I can say is, I'm never going back there again..
