Had a lovely experience here. Food was great and service was too. Only had to get waiters attention several times. Ordered calamari, which was fresh and light. Had a iced coffee to drink. Really enjoyed it I must say. The rest of the family had a pizza, fish taco and gourmet hot dog. The pizza was light and tasty. Fish taco was just one big taco but also delicious. Hot dog on the other hand was not “gourmet” necessarily. But was still enjoyed. The only problem we thought was that it’s a bit overpriced for type of cuisine. Was definitely a tasty meal but we felt like it was way over priced. Other than that I would recommend to give this place a try.
My hubby and I decided to have a breakfast date after dropping our kids off at school so we stopped at Surf Riders Cafe. It's such a beautiful spot to chill at and enjoy a drink or meal with family, friends or your partner. The staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly and greeted us with a smile. Our food didn't take long to arrive and it was plated so beautifully and tasted delicious. The only down side on this day which wasn't their fault at all was load shedding so we were not able to have a coffee with our breakfast but there's always next time
After a long Durban beachfront boardwalk, there's no better place to grab a coffee and breakfast than Surfriders. I was hungry, so ordered a jalapeño burger, which did not disappoint! Oh, and the cappuccino was really good. Really really good. I highly recommend you get lost in their menu! You won't be disappointed. Vegetarian options: They have both vegetarian and vegan menu items.
Come hungry...from friendly staff to awesome scrumptious meals, Mel and the team know exactly how to take care of you, pet friendly, safe parking and easy access, fun choices for the kids with a great menu and awesome weekly specials...will be returning soon to sample the rest of the menu...Food: 5/5
Ola it is I.. Lol.. I just wanted to say.. Ivw just had my best breakfast by far.. As far as breakfasting goes. I simply loves the presentation of the food.. It makes you salivate..in case of emergency - Hold the serviette close I fell in love with this Cypriot.. I have no idea what that means.. Though the soft taco was filled with hummus, artichokes, grilled mushroom and halloumi.. With a side of fresh red chilli.. Not meaning to gloat at all.. You guys need to try this Oh! Oh!.. I almost forgot.. They have... A doggy menu I mean.. They left nothing out..
Brilliant service. We were taken care of by Mbali. She's an absolute sweetheart. The food is was top notch. Being a casual place, we didn't expect our meals to be so well presented. It was both a treat to the eye and tummy . Mains average between R100-R200. Portions are big. Lekker beers on the tap as well. They were kind enough to give us tasters before making a choice. That was really appreciated. Love this place.
It was great to spend a celebratory Sunday morning with a Pina colada and a delicious meal. Our dog was made very welcome, and the wait staff were great. Best news for us was finding several vegan options on the menu. We'll be back to celebrate again soon.Food: 5/5
Good location on south beach if you are that side of town one of the better places to eat on the beach. Interesting menu where there are vegetarian and vegan options as well as the usual menu burgers pizzas etc… Cold draft beer on tap parking closer by and all the glory of the south beach promenade right there.
A very pleasant experience, and I will definitely return . Substitute for bacon should be offered on breakfast items, a suggestion would be chicken or lamb sausages , not mushrooms.Food: 4/5
Was good. Food and service was good. Was strange having a guy painting the pillars during lunch on a Saturday. Was sketchy as he almost fell off the ladder many times and then he was carrying the tin with him on the ladder. Also his painting job was bad. If you are reading this, sand the poly filler with 80grit. Then paint plaster primer then colour. This way the wall looks smooth and there is no bleed through from the filler
