Classic fine dining experience. Pigalle never drops the ball and this experience was no different. The warm butternut soup to start, the Vietnamese sauce oysters, mains right through to dessert were all exceptional. The service was excellent. Will definitely be back for more.Recommended dishes

Extremely friendly staff. We opted for the set menu as we were a relatively big group. I suspect that my ordermight have been wrong, but I did not mind too much, as I was torn between the options anyway. Portions are decent, though I would highly recommend ordering a starter, if not a dessert. Will likely come back to try other options on their menu.

Walking into Pigalle, we were greeted by their friendly staff and let to our table. We were a party of 8 and were seated next to the bar overlooking the rest of the restaurant. A wonderful spot to perch and enjoy the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The vibe can be described as homely with a touch of boujee chic. Our waiter introduced himself and proceeded to tell us the house specialties. While deciding from their amazing menu, we were surprised with a complimentary soup from the chef complete with a warm bread roll and whipped butter, simply divine. Our waiter brought out samples of all the seafood and explained the difference between each one from size to flavour. Starters and mains were an absolute delight, the seafood was on point, cooked to perfection and the steaks were an absolute masterpiece. All in all, a great experience. Pigalle never disappoints, it was an evening well spent with great food, superb service and good company.

5 star venue for sure. Not only because of the great setup and service. The food is just so consistently good. My pictures show a few visits, each time served so consistently. The escargot is bang on perfect, exactly as I like it all the time. The butternut soup pre starter is divine. You just cannot go wrong with any seafood here, all of it. Their years of experience shows on the plates and the well polished service. A must visit in gauteng.

The place is beautiful the service amazing. As for the food enjoy every bite. I am planning to go there again because we were having a birthday celebration and it was worth it. The view of the buildings outside. Wow..... Food: 5/5

Had Fathers Day dinner with family. All the meals were great. The Giant Tiger Prawns werw cooked just right. The Kingklip Thermador was disappointing, though. It was dry, and a Thermador sauce should not be dry and crunchy. The fish was overcooked as if it had been standing in the salamander for a long time.

Very average experience. Place needs some upgrades, including the food. Extremely outdated from the menu options to techniques used in the cooking process as well as presentation. Not crazily priced but not worth it either. Although, a slice of ice cream cake from the freezer really shouldn't cost R115 if you throw in some chocolate sauce... especially if it has freezer burn. Chose 4 different items from the menu to order and was told there was no stock of any. Wanted the chocolate fondant for dessert, was told it would take 20min to prepare which is the last thing you want to hear when you're already done with your main course. The waiter couldn't recommend anything from the menu to me upon arriving nor advise me on waiting times in advance. Not sure what's going on here. 3 stars is generous.

Very well laid out restaurant at heart of Sandton. The ambiance, atmosphere and setting of the restaurant is amazing. The tables are quite close to each other but maintains privacy at the same time. The menu is to the point and you get exactly what you see. Seafood is truly unmatched and so are the steaks. Definitely recommend this place for a foodie
