Had a relaxing lunch with the family and enjoyed the great atmosphere with a choice to dine indoors or outdoors. Menu a bit tricky for a picky kid, also think maybe they could make use of utensils that accommodate kids in instead of plates and glasses that can easily break. Overall, great service and friendly staff.

Absolutely beautiful tranquil atmosphere... Nestled in the heart of Rivonia, sure is a gem and is a must. Beat breakie I have had in ages... Excellent service.... Food quality outstanding! Free range eggs portobello mushrooms.... steaky bacon no expensive speared sure does make a difference For what you get well priced and executed. Definitely will go back to try a romantic dinner!!!! What a spoil! 5 stars well deserved!!

Came here on the weekend for breakfast, it was nice and empty so we sat outside in the courtyard. Very comfortable setting with a well planted garden for views. Coffee was nice and strong, and we even got a complementary fruit and muesli starter. We did how ever wait for quite some time for the breakfast to arrive. Took around 40 min to arrive even when the restaurant was empty. But as soon as the breakfast did arrive. It was super delicious! Everything was well cooked and season just right. I had an omelette that was amazing. But it was well over priced at R115 where I had to add onions, tomato and cheese because there normal omelette did not come with standard usual omelette ingredients. The shakshuka lacked a bit of depth, was very watery and tomatoey. Braai room in lone hill has a much better tasting one. So overall very nice place with delicious food. A bit over priced but it is in a lovely hotel that costs around 3k a night. If you don’t mind spending a bit of money on good food and comfortable environment. This is the place

What a hidden gem!? The staff and service is attentive, but discreet. The food is generous and delicious and the atmosphere is tranquil and serene. A great destination if you’re looking for something that is elegant yet comfortable.
