I'm very impressed with the service here! The security guards and staff are friendly and efficient. I arrived at around 5h20, there was already a queue and they let us into the tents at 6h00. We then went to our respective tents, following covid 19 protocols and the line moved smoothly even though each step is delayed as expected. Forms are filled in during the wait and at every step you are directed and told the *required documents. I left at 10h00 and glad to have my temp license and they said my card will be will be ready in 8 weeks *requires docs to renew drivers license: Copy of proof of residence Black and white photo for temp R250 + R90 for temp Forms they provide them to you

The first time I went was 08 June 2022. I went to renew my Driver's license since the Rossburgh was closed. I joined the queue at the gate at 5am. It was a Wednesday so they open at 8:45. Senior citizens are given priority, so yes they don't bother waking up early because they know they get served first, which sounds unfair considering we woke up very early on a cold morning. I went in at 10am. I finished at 11am. Today 11 August 2022 I was there to collect. Arrived at 10am, I waited 45 minutes to merely collect my card. Their explanation was that "It's only one person who is dealing with both payments and card collection". This place needs improvement‼

My experience here on Friday 26/Aug/2022 *arrived at around 5 am and queued outside the gate there were about 40 people ahead of me *By 5:30 the security let us in.We were directed as to what service was needed. I ended up in a Marquee on a lot opposite the building. I ended up being no 10 for Driver license renewal *At 07:45 or slightly after an official arrived with the application forms we needed. She was friendly and handed them out , she also explained what had to be filled in. *They herded us in batches to be seated directly outside the building under cover.The elderly went first and the rest. They were very organized and coordinated with regards to the control of the people . *I had all the necessary documents to hand - #ID #Certified Copy of Id #Proof of address not older than 3 mnths; #Optometrist eye test and of course the R 250 fee.It all went well and I was reminded how many good people there are in the world.The people helped each other as needed and I was out at around 10am.Thank you so much to Marianhill Staff and the friendly public.

Got there at 6am on a Saturday, we moved to the tent . We got the forms at the Tent , waited a bit. They started serving people at 7am. I was number 40 in line . From the tent you move inside , I got helped at 9:30 . I had all my documents and my eye test. Only took 7 minutes at the information collection desk , people that didn't have their eye test done before hand took a bit longer. There was no long queue at the cashier till. I had to pay R250 for the drivers license renewal plus R90 for the temporary drivers license. Remember to bring cash , because they don't have card machines. And I was out . Good experience, well coordinated and staff was soo helpful and provided clear guidance.

Well done on getting everything right! We arrived at 6 and sat in the marquee. Around 07:30 forms were handed out to those that didn't have. At exactly 07:45 people were taken into the building in groups of 10 - with those over 65 going first. The queue inside moved fast and from the time I handed my forms in till I paid and walked out was about 15 minutes. Staff extremely friendly, polite and very efficient. I highly recommended this place.

I must say I'm impressed at the service compared to Umbilo !!! Went in at 9.00 am and was done in an hour. The lady who attended to be had a smile on her face, was kind and that makes a huge difference too. Went quicker than I ever imagined. This branch to me, seems well run. Well done to them.

What an ordeal. Arrived at 8.45. Left at 14h00 without anything been done. Then the system was slow, then it was down, eventually everyone was send home. I do not know why this place is still open. They should close the doors permanently as no one ever talks about satisfied service. Previously when I have been there you got the feeling that the staff believe they are doing you a big favour by assisting you. Hopefully in the future we can do all online and close these offices permanently. We have been there today Sunday 27th November 2022 for my husband's driver's license renewal. What a pleasure. Half an hour in and out. Not many people. Better to go there on a Sunday.

It's quick. But not very user friendly. They check and confirm your documents are in order at the door. You go in and sit in the queue 3 hours just to come to front and get told sorry we can't help you, you need this, you need that. Tired of these places.

I had a horrible experience with firstly being debited twice, then a rude incompetent cashier who tried to act smart and try to be sarcastic but totally oblivious how to rectify her mistake. It very difficult to even speak to management to assist. Whilst awaiting for almost 3 hours I noticed a lot of people given preference to go before people who are in the queue. It sad how the are dropping their standards of service to the public.

Good service although u have to start on a long queue, The building is old there's no renovation there's no 4ir everything is old, their systems are poor, there's no service online you hv to go there directly ,you can't even pay using ur bank car they want hard cash so that they will steal "allegedly". It's government facilities anyway anything is possible
