Has a lot of resources and classes are 10 kids, I mean kids get spoilt. BUT you would expect more solid educational learning at this price. preschool Teachers are inexperienced probably less true the higher you go in grades, communication is pretty poor, bullying not taken care of with any seriousness, organization is messy for such a highly rated an experienced school. Great for social fun stuff Grandpa day etc, no early literacy b/c they still remain chained to SA low standard curriculum. terrible communication. But compared to everything else in the area we have no choice
Star college is notba good schoolcat all our kids are bullied inffront of their teachers. 2023 Matric have 30 pupils in one class whereas we were told that they have a small number of pupil per class. There is black people's class and Indians only class I really don't understand why are we paying so much when our kids are treated like they in public schools. Principal does not care to respond to our complaints as parents. Shame to those parents who are still sending their children there.

School is overrated and falling back.Top teachers have gone & type of students accepted are rich mainly.Has a pathetic voting system for issues and doesn't address any complaint s,lots of cheating in tests and work done at the school doesn't correspond with NSC syllabus.Too much pressure on pupils .

Your child can be guaranteed to get all A's and get bullied. Because when your child gets bullied, the head of department does very less to sort out the issue. Bullying is a joke, The HOD gets upset when the same issue is addressed about bullying. Teachers and the principals are more interested in drilling your child about academics and not concerned about scaring your child for life. Teachers don't know what happens in the class because they are not present. Boys are very much more important than girls are that they put cameras in the classrooms... my son is not all in the bright side and he got bullied in Star College, cameras were put and it was sorted out. My friend's daughter on the other hand goes to the Star College Girl's school and gets all good grades but is bullied to a very far extent. When are they going to sort this out?

This is a place that prepares you for adulthood by learning the art of self study.You are responsible for yourself and have to learn on your own.Teachers are difficult to understand because of their accents.
