Our server was absolutely amazing, he remembered us from our first visit. The new management team was great and humble. Food was delicious, with the Italian touch and not a long waiting period. The bar had a great selection and we can't wait for the new menu.Food: 4/5
Really really impressed. Decided to ditch Panarotis in the mall and see what pizza places are nearby, also used Entertainer app to find a spot. Smallish pizza place with a somewhat rustic feel. We were warmly welcomed and seated. We ordered 4 pizzas all of which had generous and fresh toppings and the pizza crust is just so good. Also its genuine wood fired pizza which I love. I love that they offer some toppings that you don't get in your regular pizza chains salmon, wild mushrooms, pancetta etc. Also ordered a kiwi daiquiri which was made with fresh kiwi... so good. Finished the meal with some connolo.
Jay and the entire team were amazing from the first phone call to the time we left. The restaurant was busy and cosy, and the atmosphere was superb. We enjoyed the pizzas and the milkshakes as well, great food. The coffee to finish was also fantastic. All round a very worthwhile visit and a place we will return to again, I have no doubt. It was also great that the venue was wheelchair friendly for my Mom. That was very helpful. Thank you to the team for a memorable afternoon out.
We visited Pizza Vesuvio last night for the first time since it is under new ownership. The standard and quality of the food are still impeccable. The portions were much larger than previously. The wine list has been revamped, with additions of some good wines for every taste and budget. The waiters are well trained and efficient. I have to congratulate the new owners for keeping the ambiance and quality of Pizza Vesuvio, but especially for improving the service standards. Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options are available. The Gnocchi Pomodoro is my favorite.
The atmosphere was fine and our waiter was very friendly and helpful, but the food was quite oily and not that nice compared to other pizza/pasta/Italian spots around town. Only making this review because when we raised our concerns with management, we did not get any apologies and our barely touched food was just taken away. We ended up having to pay the full bill which included food we barely touched. A simple apology would have sufficed, but instead we were seen as the ones who apparently doesn't know what Italian food is supposed to taste like.
What a gem of a restaurant with the most attentive staff and amazing pizzas. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. I went once and have gone back after that first experience. I wasn't a pizza lover before trying theirs.. It's absolutely delicious. Also tried their house wines and even their craft beer. All the food is freshly made on site and the flavors are amazing. I'll definitely be going back to try everything on the menu. Parking: Safe parking with on site security
The best Gluten Free pizza base is served here!!! We have only ordered takeaway so. Looking forward to dining in soon. The atmosphere is inviting and service friendly and great.Food: 5/5

Absolutely lovely experience. The atmosphere is so warm and the decor is beautiful with the music the perfect cherry on top for the ambience. Pizza was delicious and staff are very friendly and pleasant. Great customer service!
We have been regulars at Pizza Vesuvio for years, but I'm afraid that's over. Our Mother's Day experience there was very poor. Yes, we had a big table, but it was a set menu. It took 2 hours to get our starters - and then mine was cold on arrival. The food was mixed at best. They can still cook a good pizza, but nothing was spectacular, and some was pretty bad. When my main arrived, I told my wife I would wait for hers to arrive, she said no, go ahead. I had long finished mine before hers finally arrived. In fact, the two moms at the table got their food absolutely last. And the final blow was the dessert - most ordered tiramisu, which came out slightly warm. How can you have warm tiramisu? It was nice they offered a free glass of wine to moms, but my wife had to request hers, and the waiter looked at her skeptically and said "it's only for moms". She was the mom of 4 of the people at the table! But she had to convince him to get her free wine. Good grief. Something has definitely changed. New ownership? Their new logo is tacky and looks like a cheap Italian takeaway place, so maybe that's the direction they are heading. The service is atrocious, and that used to be a strong point. We miss our waiter, Alex, so much! Even the music has changed - they used to play a sort of jazzy music that really fit the restaurant. Now it's beats and pop and ... No. Just no. Time to look for another regular Italian place.
