My mother and I came to Plant ranch for less than an hour , and our vehicle was stolen. We asked them if this happens often and they said ' ja, sometimes '. They then said they would contact their local security company to check if they had see our car : which they replied that they had seen it on the way to Plant Ranch "on the security camera systems" exactly at 12:10pm . Which was shortly before the time our insurance company said the tracker within our car was disarmed. They also confidently claimed the people must've followed us from where we came from. If that was true, wouldn't they have shown up on the supposed "security camera"? Anyway, Then they asked us to give them our case number after we went to the police, in order " to help them track & locate our car". Now I'm no car tracker expert, but I've never heard of a case number being used to physically locate a car. And if your business 'sometimes' has vehicle thefts and you actually want to be of assistance to your patrons, wouldn't you hire a car guard , or install security camera's ? or something ? anything ? The whole thing just didn't make sense , and their assistance + demeanor was alarming. They were not shocked , nor sincerely concerned. It appeared their interest in the circumstance was our case number. It was my first time going there , but I will never return. If you do go in future, please be safe and alert.
Would definitely recommend. Lovely garden shop. Their indoor plant section is amazing alway good quality plants well looked after. You can be comfortable knowing you'll get what you are looking for, and if they don't have it they will get it for you. Their staff is always around for help and they are extremely friendly they bend over backwards for their clients. I go there every month to see what's new to add to my collection.

Everything is beautiful and well laid out. For information on plants the lady who assisted was very helpful. The only issue we had was at the till which took a long time and then instead if keying in R600.00 the cashier keyed in R6 000.00 then had to use a calculator to work out my change. Experienced cashiers should be operating the tills.
I ordered rose quartz stone from plant ranch and what an awesome shopping expiernce. The service was and awesome expiernce. Annake went out of her way to get me the right size stone I wanted, she ordered them in, and 2 days later delivered them for me in Alberton.
Owsum staff great bunch of people had answer's for all my questions they really know their stuff, the plant ranch itself has a great verity of beautiful plants.
What an epic garden centre. The vast variety of things to choose from left me satisfied. Service was outstanding, thank you so much Mitchell you’re a legend man! I find it hard to imagine using a different place ever again
