The nurses are rude, waited 3 hours to be asked why I was at the clinic, after that waited an additional 2 hours to be seen by any nurse. They were not notifying anyone of anything.
They are a top notch medical facility...with the best equipment and high level patient care
Please pray that God in his generosity, his compassion, his overwhelming love, would grant my father the gift of life, and save my father from all harm. Please God, please cure my father’s failing heart, kidneys and lungs, and please take away the viral and bacterial infection and cure all of my father’s failing organs, so that my father could come home and live with me till a very old age. Please God, please grant my father the gift of life. I don’t need money, wealth, all the material trappings in life. Please grant my father the gift of life so that I could live with my father till my dying days. My heart is so broken. Dear God please save my father from this latest health scare. I am not a perfect Christian, but I am willing to help others and I am willing to change my ways. Please grant my father the gift of life, I beg of you.King George Slater my dad a pasient of yours still waiting to get a appointment with you
I find it shocking that it is apparently impossible to speak to the doctor who is treating you. Personally I am a patient at George Hospital and if I have questions and need to speak to my doctor, then I am put through. This is not the case at PE Provincial. Not all patients have the ability or capacity to just quickly get in the car and drive through to Port Elizabeth. And when I asked for an email address for the Neurology Department, I was told that they didn't have one. Uhmmmmm.... What? I can't fathom the giant gap in service between one province to the next. The Eastern Cape Provincial Government should be ashamed! I can just imagine how many elderly people and really sick people end up not getting the help they need. I think if all the people in power had to go and sit in the same queues and get the same treatment, things in the Health Department will change tremendously.
I had an appointment my first time at the cardiologist. Got there and was not sure what to do with regards to opening a file. Walked past the queue to the nurses station just to ask whether I should open a file first or what the procedure was. I couldn't even finish my question when the nurse shouted to get out and escorted me out of the station in front of all the people. I tried to just finish my questions but she kept interupting me and then only informed me that there was a positive Covid case yesterday. I waited 4 months for an appointment. I am not impressed at all. She could have handled the situation better and just answered my questions but instead she made me feel like a fool in front of all the people.
My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed this week and I just want to say a heartfelt thank to all the Staff that I came in contact with recently at the hospital. Especially theater staff and as well as the nurses at P5. I must say that they have overflowing empathy for their patients compared to the other hospitals I have been to in the region. They do so much with the little resources they have. Keep up the good work!!!!
The staff at the clinic of this hospital is poor, absolute worst service I ever received in my entire life! They go on long tea breaks and lunch breaks, and once that happens people sit and wait forever because it seems as if they all go together. They don't say anything, they just disappear and no one continues working. People must just sit and wait. Whether you are coming with your baby, old people or for family planning. They give you the worst service.
I find it shocking apparently Provincial hospital does not take emergency, so it means a person must die if they don't have a transfer
Went to provincial clinic at 0500 with excruciating abdominal pains. to this day I haven't been able to get them to see me...the sister went inside and came out with a box of panado's I was not there for pain tablet's...this was a very serious swelling in the groan area which has spread to the small intestine and my stomach .I cannot eat or drink, this is an absolute nightmare
One of the better government hospitals.
