The Aim of the PMSC is to provide facilities for the participation in any kind of Sports by members of the SANDF, former members of the SANDF and their families including serving members of the Reserve and other invited individuals.
The Functions of the PMSC and its various Sport Codes are as follows:
1. To promote Sports and to encourage participation therein.
2. To control and administer facilities, various Sports Codes and competitions of all Military Units in the Northern Gauteng area.
3. To maintain, improve and organise facilities made available by SANDF and non-public funds.
4. To control, use or dispose of assets for the Club, acquired through State cost, including non-public funds.
5. To provide facilities for the participation in any kind of Sport by members of the SANDF.
6. Manage all PMSC activities effectively & efficiently.
7. Presentation of the PMSC Merit Awards Function.
8. Hosting & presenting of annual Gauteng Regional Sport days.
9. Provide competitive Regional Sport teams for SANDF Championships.
