Pride Pool Centre

Don’t waste your time or money. Absolutely USELESS service and communication. It has been a month since I have paid them to fix and clean my pool which to this date are still green and not working. They have missed COUNTLESS appointments, always providing a time they will arrive but just never pitches. Leaving their loose pipes and equipment drifting in the pool. I have emailed and called so many times that I have now officially given up. Their responses are rubbish and mediocre. I will NEVER use such a useless company again! Stay clear!

I booked a call out for maintenance but nobody pitched and I stayed at home to receive them!. Generally poor unreliable service from Pool Pride. Not the first time, so I'm voting with my feet. Not a specialised industry and many trustworthy alternatives.

Totally unreliable service! Booked a week in advance for an urgent pool pump repair and sand exchange. 1 hour before the appointment they cancelled. The staff was very rude and seem not to care. Reading from all the other reviews they have no customer service. Only overpriced products that you can get for a fraction of the price in every supermarket!

The worse service ever, they've been making empty promises from the time we approach them. They make appointments then never show up. Our pool is still green and it's been 3 weeks ago.

Genuinely some of the worst service I've ever had. Do not use them! Arranged to arrive on Friday at 2, I have to phone them at 4 to ask where they are and they pretend to not hear me and dodge my calls. Finally get through and they say that they'll come on Monday. Monday gets rescheduled to Tuesday which they miss again and I have to call again to ask where they are. Finally arrive on Wednesday. I then pay with with cash which is required on Wednesday and they don't have the correct change for me. I am promised that the change will be brought to me later in the day, of course it is not. I now have to go in on Thursday to collect the money I am owed because they didn't have change for me. All round terrible experience and pathetic customer service.

Totally unreliable, I had a leak in my sand filter that urgently needed fixing. Booked a call out thursday, they didn't pitch, no phone call either. Booked them again for Saturday, didn't pitch, then Tuesday didn't pitch! All with no communication from Daniel that was dealing with me, I'd phone the shop he was rude and condescending in his tone, tell me he needs to find out why nobody came and that he would call me back, never once did he call me back this was after 3 or 4 times calling the shop. Thursday they eventually sorted out the issue. No apology for the bad service, absolutely shocking the way you deal with customers Daniel, you should not be in retail/ customer service. I will never use pride pools services again because they don't care. Don't buy their pool floaters they charge R225 it's only R120 at checkers, crooks.

The day before lockdown began I came into Pride Pool Centre with a water sample to be tested, and purchased several items. Upon arriving home, I realized that I did not receive one of the items charged for. They were closed for the duration of the lockdown and reopened this week so I brought my receipt in and asked for the missing item, but was refused. Michael told me that "it was definitely in the bag" however I never took a bag. He was adamant that I, the customer, was lying and had received this item. Why would I take the time and trouble to make this story up. You'll never find me back in their shop again.

Was evident that the assistants didnt know how to solve my problem, and ended up actually breaking a part of my kreepy krauly, then charged to repair the broken piece. Interestingly this place is also about 50% more in price than most places for basic supplies like HTH.

Asked for my pool to get ready for the summer after spending the winter under a deck, asked for a full service, pride pool only concern was getting cash. My salt chlorenator is not working, no feedback on what must be done, if pool is swimable, water still geenish and what solidified the poor rating was finding my two year old playing with chemicals they left next to the pump...

Requested new pump sand and once the job was completed they said I needed a new pump as it stopped working. It took me two minutes to unblock the air bubble & was working perfectly. Complete and utter frauds.
