NOT open at 08:00. Beware. The employees understand that they only have to arrive at 08:00. You will find the doors open only at 08:15. Another great success story from the ANC government. Viva!

In Office Service is good but the systems and communication is non existent, sms notifications, emails, telephone never answered. Absolutely no correspondence from their side.b Doig you have items ordered from overseas, they say they sent notifications but the dont. This was told to me by their employees. So if the have it it never returns to sender overseas? Where is my stuff?

Went to get my car license and was expecting to wait in queues. Was pleasantly surprised to find no queue!!! Less than 5 minutes later I walked out. Even chairs to sit on if you are in a queue.

All other post offices in Pretoria is offline for licence disk renewals except 3, PTA north, Sunnyside and Pretoria central. Went to Pretoria North post office yesterday after going to mayville post office and I got there and there was load shedding and they are closed during load shedding. The government put's in law that you have to renew your license disk but makes it impossible for people to actually do it

License renewals mostly offline. Was always a good post office but in the past few years has reached the point were it should just be closed down.

As the state of all government institutions, this one is just as pathetic. Received notices in my postbox yesterday of international parcels ready to be collected. Drove 25 KM to this useless post office just to be told that the parcels were all sent back 2 months ago and that its not their fault it takes from the 10th of FEB up to 31 MAY to deliver my collection notices. 4 months to get my notices delivered and in the meantime they send back all the parcels. Useless and pathetic does not even start to explain their service

The staff usually looks at you with an irritated or angry expression on their face if you ask them a question. They are usually very unfriendly and not very eager to help you, even though that is their main function. I also had a package here once that was handed to me opened and the contents was stolen. They could not care less. They also do not have any card facilities for payment options when you want to pay to renew your licence. They have card facilities at the other tills, just not at the one with the licences and you have to pay cash, so be prepared for that. Sometimes you do get better service, it just depends on who is helping you. One of the ladies who helped me and my friend this week was friendly and phoned around to help us find a package and managed to give us some info on the package location. For that, I added one star to my review. If they keep this up, I will continue to edit this review. EDIT: I received a 2 year old package. Thanks SAPO. The others are still missing :?

More personnel assistance was available for people to help clear the que before loadshedding.

I went to post office Pretoria North and it happened that the client infront of me had misunderstandings with the lady Louise who was assisting and the manager had to intervene and the way she the manager handled things was totally out of line. Her management style is very bad and unprofessional. As a manager, as much as you can address your staff, not infront of the clients and the in a racist manner.
