"R.James Hardware is an independent traditional hardware store, offering old fashioned service.Our market is building contractors, local business and DIY trade.The shop occupies 2200m2 on Wynberg Main Rd with our main drive-in entrance at the back of the building on Fleming Road offering plenty of parking.R.James has kept its old school charm yet has evolved into a busy, up to date store with up to date delivery vehicles and the latest computerised paint mixing equipment.R James was started by Mr James in 1924 and remained in the James family until it was bought by the current owners, Tim Eastwood and Rob Boyd, in 1999.R.James employees are friendly, knowledgeable and experienced offering personal service and advice since 1924."

These guys are on top form, they are friendly, helpfull , they know their stuff and are not scared to get their hands dirty, iv also found that their prices are very competitive, just a small thing, the website is a bit confusing and the search engine doesn't work too well when looking for items specific. But overall , 5 stars guys. Thanks
R.Jame hardware is the right place to get what you need. Plumbing ,carpentry and all building materials. Gershwin Thomas is one of the best workers to assist you in everyway he can, and he will go the extra mile.

My scaffolding business has had an account with R.James Hardware for 9 years now. I normally deal with Andre and the owner Rob. Very professional outfit that I can highly recommend. Prices are good, service is brilliant. Five stars from me
Small hardware and building supply store, but big on stock, quality and helpfulness. Been around forever. A bit maze-like, but there's always something useful ticked into the nooks and crannies. Lots of items sold individually or by the meter. Plumbing etc is a separate plumbing store on the same premises, also will stocked and with very helpful sales staff.
If it were possible to give more stars on this I would. What a fantastic experience. I was made to feel like the most important person in the shop. The enthusiasm and willingness to accommodate was on a different level. My only regret is that I did not start using them earlier. To Andre and the rest of the team - great job.
The best hardware outlet in the Western Cape. By a country mile. I get to a lot of hardware shops, big and small over the whole peninsular. None compete with R James. Stock a plenty, very knowledgeable staff, professional and on the ball. They set the bench mark and Andre who drives the operation is in a league of his own. They deserve every star they get.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Parking is an issue. Good selection of goods available for the diy man or the building contractor. Great paint department willing to match up colours without an issue. Very busy early mornings with a short wait to be helped.
I was amazed with the sterling service from Urlton who even gave me a discount on my swivel wheels. I just moved into the area and realised they are literally less than 3 minutes away. You guys will see me soon.!!!
