The best pottery shop in South Africa. One of my highlights visiting the Eastern Cape is stopping at Richard Pullen's studio and choosing some pottery to bring home. He is well-known across the country and for good reason. Each time we go there, there is new pottery to enjoy. My kitchen wouldn't be complete without my cups, bowls and plates from here.

An exceptionally talented and very hard-working potter who you can see working in his studio in the historic village of Bathurst. Richard has some beautiful work for sale and is well worth making a detour through Bathurst to visit.

An engaging studio and shop, with beautifully made ceramics. Richard Pullen has such incredible glazes! A bonus is the adjoining shop with crystals, jewellery, skincare products. Such an asset for Bathurst!

Amazing local pottery made by a renowned local potter. Plates, mugs, bowls and much more. A small shop attached that sells amazing crystals and other trinkets. Restaurant across the road as well as a nursery and an art gallery near by as well as an amazing market on Sunday mornings. Beautiful place and pottery.

Richard makes lovely pottery and some fine ceramic pieces. We have loads of his work in our home to enjoy every day.
