Probably the most expensive butcher shop I’ve ever been in. Harrods is cheaper. Sirloin at £60 p/k was vac packed. Rump was £36 p/k. To put it into perspective, the Butchery in Spitalfields charges £38 p/k for 90 day aged rare breed sirloin. I today bought 75 day aged rump for £24 p/k. I can’t understand the pricing. It feels like a shake down for those not in the know. I’m sure the meat is great, but at these prices the livestock must have to be eating caviar for this to be value.

Burgers, sausages, skewers… everything is delicious. Bevan’s is the place that changed my whole perception of a butcher. There is so much you can get from people that do a great job. Just five stars

Great butcher shop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make sure you have the best product for your recipe. Yes it's more pricey than supermarket meat but the quality is unlike any meat I've tried, and that includes restaurants! Fantastic place. Highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to buying something as I’m a huge meat/BBQ fan. However, we were made to feel less than welcome. I had walked in with my wife and brother. Unbeknown to us, another lady had walked in behind us. This was told to us as - it’s two couples only or 3 singles. The manner in which we were addressed was most unprofessional, frankly it was rude and abrupt. We were made to feel rather embarrassed and consequently everyone in my party left. What a great pity we were informed in such an abrupt and discourteous manner. We promptly left. We didn’t spend anything and we won’t. Perhaps, there is a nicer way to address customers in your store - or at least ask the patrons who come in afterwards to please wait a little.

Disappointed to have heard of customers' varying experiences, when I have always had a positive one. We have reasonable butchers in our area but choose to travel to Kingston for Bevans as the quality of the meat is on par with H G Walter in Baron's Court. Occasionally the juniors are a little bit clueless, but there's always someone on hand to address a query.

Always well stocked with a great range of quality meat. Steaks are always faultless though obviously not cheap at about £10 p/p. But there’s plenty of really well priced options. My favourites are the spicy chicken burgers and wagyu burgers but they also do some interesting sausage flavours. There’s a small range of veg but it’s also top quality cauliflower, baking potatoes and a couple of nice bottles ciders. An essential part of our weekly shop!

You can definitely get fresh meat and quality products here. The services are excellent.

I tried the 40 days aged T-bone steaks and ribeye and the quality is excellent.

My go to meat for any BBQ. Chicken Wings and Steak a particular favourite of mine! The service is like going back in time with a real personal approach to help understand what you need and how they can help. Recommend to all!

My favourite family-run butchers in Surrey and always exceptional service. Only place we will shop when it comes to preparing for a BBQ or Sunday roast!
