Very nice place, we visit here every weekend, friendly staff, great service. Camping area with power, and when you want to take a break from fishing, you can always visit the Bar, have a couple of beers and play Pool...
Absolutely horrible. Maintenance non existing. Kitchen cupboards cant close. Toilet seat broken. Basin have no hot water. Dam has horrible smell. kids play area exist but everything is broken.
Shocking. Owner and lady running place should work on customer service. Honestly. I read a few reviews of people complaining about this. Chalets are dirty. We had to pick up cigarette buds of previous guests. You can clearly see there is no maintenance!!! We left early and will not go back. Pity because we really wanted to support them.
Real bad experience. We stayed in the Lapa House on the dam. Unfortunately we can not recommend this place. The house is dirty and neglected. Kitchen basin hot water tap not connected to hot water so had to wash dishes in cold water. Shower head broken. Toilet seat broken. We had to clean the area in front of house of all the previous visitors cigarette buds. Fan is loose and is about to fall any minute. Kitchen cupboards can't close. Not 1 swing in children's play area is usable. Jetty is unsafe to walk on due to all the loose planks. Owner and manager are rude. I read a quite a few reviews and see many people mentioned their lack of customer relations. When we wanted to pay the R300 key deposit the card machine did not work. Regardless of the fact that we already paid R3,280.00 for the weekend months in advance, the kept on phoning is for the R300 key deposit???? Why? The card machine is not working!! Grass is cut but long against walls. Requires a wheat-eater. Real pity since they asked us to promote the place to all our friends and as much as we hoped to support them, we can absolutely not. We were prepared to look past everything - but the rudeness. Sorry will never go there again!!!

Beautiful place actually with the big dam ,camping on the bank with a braai facilitiy and accessible ghetty but in all honesty the staff can really improve their overall customer service, i had a really bad first experience what should've been a night over ,we rather went home...
Excellent place to go and catch a few fish while takinh in the scenary.
