Sunny from Riverside liquors went over and beyond to help me. He was able to source a bourbon for me within hours. Above that, all the staff members are incredibly friendly, well informed and helpful. They have a wide selection of wine in stock and I always get great recommendations of new things to try. This is my favorite bottlestore in Johannesburg, they are so customer-centric that the service is unparalleled.
After weeks of emails and calls we now don't have our order a day before the event. We were told that they will make a plan. Over the phone we were assured that everything will be sorted but we never received an email confirming this. I would rate it one star but they tried to rectify the mistake. Overall very bad experience after being reassured that everything was in place.
A great liquor store when you want something special. The staff there is knowledgeable and I would gladly follow any recommendations that they give. They stock all kinds of craft liquor and beer, and some of the best wines in the country.
