I went there for an interview for a position in this facility. Interviewed with the doctor on a tues and he told me to come back in a week at 8:30am. When the week was over i came back at 830 and the office was closed with a line of patients outside the office.  I waited until 9:15 and called the doctor for this office explained to him i was here based on last week tues and it was like he had forgotten the whole interview, didnt even know who i was. He stated he should be in office in about 45 minutes and keep in mind i was supposed to meet up with him at 830, and the time now is 9:30z Eventually I left and called and text his number no response. This establishment is very unprofessional and they dont have a respect for your time. Dont waste your time to work here or be a patient

I thought things would have changed after viewing the reviews from months back but I had an appointment at 12:30 and currently still haven’t seen the doctor and it’s 3 pm. This is ridiculous I’ve never experienced anything like this. HOWEVER the doctors are great and they really do try to help you and listen to what fits you best.

This is the worst medical office, my appointment was at 12:30pm l being waiting for 2 hours l asked the receptionist when they going to call me and she told me, the doctor is going to lunch now so l had to live without seen the doctor and they didn’t care.

I am reviewing as a VENDOR for this practice, not a patient. If you plan to do business with Rockville Medical I highly recommend getting payment in advance of services. They do not honor agreements, that are signed and legally binding. This action will force my company to retain our legal team to go after the money owed to us. Fairly significant amount, between $20-30K. It's been my experience, from 20+years of working with private medical practices, that those that do not pay their bills, are ones that patients should probably avoid as well. I would not trust the owners of this practice with my health, or the health of my loves ones. Seem their primary focus here is to make money, and keep it.

Doctors are okay but horrible office. I would bring a book with me every time because like the rest of the reviewers, you Will wait... Not uncommon for up to 2 hours past appointment time until you're seen. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when I called at 4:45pm for clarification about the handwriting on my prescription. I waited on hold until 5:05 and decided to redial. No answer. I then call two other number for the office.... No answer, no call back, nothing. I could have been dying but 5pm means no more work I guess. If possible... Find a better doctor's office to visit.

I see nothing has changed in 20 years wait for hours to see a doctor. If you drop dead, they might come out and look at you.

I love Dr. Mukhtar. No question about that. He saved my mothers life years ago.  He's an excellent, talented and caring doctor who takes the time to really hear his patients. The overall practice however is horrible. After waiting 3 hours for my most recent physical I had to leave to pick up my children. I also question the business ethics of the practice when other doctors come and go as they please even with a full schedule, bill insurance companies for procedures & codes for services that were never received, send patients for unnecessary testing, and never call patients to cancel testing appointments when something doesn't work or the tech doesn't come in this happened 3x's to my husband.  For that reason I have chosen to leave this practice. If Dr. Mukhtar decides to leave this practice I will happily follow him.

I cannot begin to explain how terrible the customer service at this practice is. I’ve been here several times with family members and am always waiting over 2 hours to be seen. Then comes the prescription issues. They will not renew your prescriptions at times without making you come in—even though you’ve been there at least 5 times within a calendar year. If these were pain medications or something addictive I would understand...but this practice will toy with patients who have heart issues.  If you try to call the practice for a renewal you will be placed on a 15 minute hold only to be told that the prescriptions will be sent out later in the day and they never get sent out. Dealing with this practice has been frustrating. No doctor should allow his staff to continuously treat people like this, the doctors are nice but the practice itself is terrible.

The doctors are fine, the staff is pleasant but the wait is inexcusable. Nothing can justify a consistent wait time of 2 hours.  I have to find another doctor who respects the fact that my time is also important. I have gone to 2 of the top doctors at Mt Sinai and never had to wait more than 20 minutes.

After this last visit I’ll be done! I really like  DR. MakTar but I can’t bare the long waiting that’s ruining the rest of my day. I could do better! I have good Insurance.  Gonna try a Holistic DR. With 5 stars . Also some of the front desk staff is rude.
