Not again, too rustic for me. So we purposely missed breakfast. Photo's are deceiving.

What an experience. If you want to travel back through time, this is the place to go. I got the honeymoon suite, complete with huge corner bath, double shower, etc. The only thing was the creaky mattress. Maybe not a good idea for honeymooners Poppie was an absolute treat! She booked me in, cooked my food, checked that I'm okay, gave me directions for evening dinner. What a great experience. The lodge has a very eclectic feel. Lovely portraits, antiques, old bar, a lot of history!

I love this place. So full of history and romance of the old old farming days, how life was 100 years ago. Friendly owner and staff completes this experience. A must see if you travel throug this part of SA.
