Let me start from the beginning. I was there today 28/02/23 to buy a lounge suite that was on special. The initial sevice when I entered the store was great. I asked to see the lounge suite but they did not have. I said that it is fine and will take one. The sales person said that if I do not like it I can return it. I paid for the suite and they said that I must pay the delivery guys directly which to me is not a problem. I got a call just before 5 and the gentleman on the phone said that there GPS is not working and that they at an engen garage. I told them that they must Park somewhere and I will come fetch them. They said that they are at Spar. I went to all of the Spar's within a 5km radius but could not find them. They were all talking at the same time and told me to go here and there. I drove around for 20 minutes and still could not find them. I phoned the manager and said that if the lounge suite is not at my house within 30 minutes I want my money back. Now I cannot get hold of the manager anymore. Whatever you do. do not buy at Russell's parow. They use guys from the street to deliver items and there is no professionalism at all.
I bought a bed from you guys 4 months ago a Camelot MKII Sleepmaster! The bed is in horrible shape and makes squeaky sounds bearing in mind that I have only started using it 2 months ago as I was travelling due to work the other months. I have sent numerous emails even spoke to your agent on FB chat who said I should go to the store and I asked which store since I bought the bed online, I am still yet to receive feedback. Horrible Horrible I regret buying from you guys.
Customer Experience is very bad, Manager tells me that I must collect my stuff at another store they don't have in stock and they can only arrange for me in next year to have it at their store.The Manager who requested me to collect at another store
Will never buy from this store again. On Black Friday I purchased a wardrobe that was delivered damaged. It was such a struggle to get a replacement.

I have had my share with the whole JDG group stores, sales personnel who are desperate to make a sale even prepared to you in your face. Even management cannot resolve conflict, the customer inconvenienced. No customer satisfaction. The don't even deserve the star a gave them
I have bought a bunker bed and signed for a debit order. So then it happened on end of february that Russells took 6 debit orders in a row from my account. I went to the bank and reversed 5 of the 6 debit orders. After that i changed my bank account started paying cash. Also notified parow branch. With every payment i made in cash i either paid a R100 or R200 more. Now im getting a statement that im in arrears with R1388. I have asked numerous times for an explanation also for an apology. This is my worst experience ever with an furniture store. Should thisatter not be solve i will dismantle the and cancel this whole contract. As a paying client im very unhappy with services recieved. All the banking cost involved, all the airtime involved, all the petrol money involved for up and down, and lastly my name. Sorry the next step i w.ill take is up with the media and my lawyer. So 25/04 i phoned once again head office in Johannesburg, had this one lovely lady assisting me. Well to make a long story short the payment of R700 i made at Russell's Parow for which i have a receipt was reversed as a payment. So all they say is sorry for the inconvenience. But from my side nothing being done on the arrears side, nothing being done to conpensate me. Well i guess my lawyer must give me advise as to me thia ia clearly a case for the police to investigate and maybe a newspaper or two

I bought a bed online from Russells in September 2020. After several follow ups the bed was delivered in October 2020. January 2021 I inquired about the bed's poor quality. I wrote a several emails to their customer care service team and to date I have received no response. This is so DISAPPOINTING for such a long standing company.
