An all-round winner! The food was great, the atmosphere was lively - especially with the unique, yet appropriate song played during a person’s birthday… not your typical Mexican tune, but adds to the vibe. Loved the colour-changing lighting! The service we received cannot be faltered - we were a big table & our orders were served correctly, with a smile & keen interaction from the staff & management alike. The waitron was awesome & made a few alternative suggestions, to cater for special dietary requirements & allergies, which turned out to be excellent! Give Salsa a Red Hot Go!! Vegetarian options: Salsa has a fair variety of Veggie options. You may also either make substitutions, or ask for ingredients to be left out, if you so wish. Kid-friendliness: We had children with us; they had enough options to eat & enjoyed the atmosphere - cannot judge for smaller kids though. Parking: There are 2 access points to Salsa. Bedford Square is the closest, with Salsa located directly above the entrance from the open parking lot, from Bedford Square’s side. From Bedford Centre, it is a little tricky to get to Salsa & quite a walk. We only saw covered parking at Bedford Centre. Wheelchair accessibility: There are lifts available to take wheelchairs up to Salsa - no worries there! Dietary restrictions: They do cater for vegetarians. Most meals are egg-free - for egg allergies, avoid the mayonnaise, aioli & complimentary hot sauces.
Amazing Mexican restaurant. First time eating here and Thulani was so helpful in helping us make up our mind on what is the best to eat. As there was so many options to choose from. Will definitely recommend this place.Food: 5/5
This place looks great and serves delicious food. Waiters are friendly and helpful and they also have fast WiFi. I highly recommend the Mexican Chopped Salad. It's a well-balanced dish with excellent flavours and textures. I tried the Chicken Burgita and was impressed by the crunchy patty and how well the sauce/cream complemented it. There were also tomato, lettuce and onions to keep things fresh, but I felt that the raw onions were a bit too much. Also, the tortilla could have been slightly toasted as it didn't really do anything flavour-wise. The fries were a bit undercooked but well-seasoned. Good food and great vibes overall
When last did you eat at a Salsa Mexican Grill? It feels like forever, when we use to hang out there and just have some fun. Thankfully the Salsa Mexican Grill Bedford Centre is still open. Haven't been here in years. The menu has changed, as expected. The drinks are still as good. Loved my Litchi and Mint Margarita. The food however, is ok, but not as great as before. We ordered the Jalapeño bottle caps, the Chicken folded Quesadilla and the Los Nachos Tacos. Both were made with panko crusted chicken, and it was tasteless. There was just something missing in the coating of the chicken. Even my fold over. The top had the crusted chicken slightly dry. And the bottom half all the salsa, crema, jalapeño, tomato, onion etc. It felt like 2 different meals. They should rather chop up the chicken pieces and mix with the other ingredients and lay it on half of the Quesadilla, and then fold over so that there is flavour all around. The chips and the spices were yummy. Service was good and we did speak to the manager about the chicken, as we added the table sauces to our food to give it a little boost. What a lovely vibe, Devine food and some impressive drink options. Came here for Valentine’s and I must say they went above and beyond to make it a memorable and amazing experience. I would definitely recommend.
Fresh authentic Mexican food. Fusion of diahed a bit here and there but still delicious. Food is served quick and hot. Quite a large menu, spoilt for choice. Had to Google a few items to understand what it actual was, lol. Great party vibe. Some craft alcoholic beverages also on the menu. Quite the Fiesta up in here!Food: 5/5

Online order... My first order from Salsa Mexican Restaurant. The enchiladas were cold and not grilled. This is extremely upsetting! The Nacho's were soft and moist. What happened to crunchy? Over priced meal! My big order was stuffed in one bag so much so, that the chocolate whatever fell out of the bag upon receiving. I'm definitely not going to crave Salsa Mexican again.
Salsa gets points for an exciting looking menu. Everything and more you would expect from Mexican fare. The drinks list is vast and filled with fruity cocktails, craft tequilas and margarita jugs. On the food side of things, I decided to sample from the 'Platitos' menu which is essentially tapas. I tried the calamari poppers - fried calamari tubes stuffed with cheese, jalapenos and onion served with a jalapeno pesto sauce. I also sampled a 'slider' if you will of 3 mini hard-shell tacos each with their own filling, consisting of pork, chicken and beef. The calamari lacked any real flavour and was under seasoned. I was also expecting a more pronounced jalapeno spicy flavour but never got it. The hard-shell tacos were a better flavour each offering unique tastes. For example the chicken had been paired with pineapple and mint. A great combination. The pulled pork was sweet and savoury, quite nice. The beef, I think cooked with adobo, was tasty too. Ultimately though each dish could have done with more spice. I was also a little disappointed with the presentation of the food overall. As you can see in the pictures provided they lacked style. Lastly I've actually never NOT had a wedge of lime served on a Mexican dish before, this should be remedied. All in all I gave the food a 3 out of 5.
The restaurant is beautiful to just look at they really took the Mexican theme and ran with it. The service was great and the Food was Devine. Didn't order some of their great tequila this time round but this was still a great lunch...
