Salt + Pepper Restaurant Lydenburg

We went to visit family for the long weekend..to celebrate my birthday that was on Sunday we went to have lunch. First they don't have a cocktail that we wanted, then we get our food the avo on my burger was black I had to take it off..the play ground for the kids is not great at all. So we eat, pay and leave about 3 hours later we all start having stomach cramps and nausea and we were man down the whole of Monday due to bad food we received.. it's Tuesday now we had to drive back to JHB today still sick with our upset stomachs....needless to say we will never be going there for a meal ever again.

Had a lovely lonely dinner. Lekke Goliath steak. Just a bit quite, arrived, ordered, ate and paid my bill and there was no other customer that came since I was there and left.

Terrible breakfast experience. Food was not as described on menu and of abysmal quality. Then I had to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash as they have only one card machine, which doesn't even work. Rather go anywhere else.

Pleasant surprise in a massive venue. Good steak. Good price. Had the fire steak with brie and jalapeno. Delicious. Just felt lonely in the massive venue.

Excellent food, friendly staff and the best venue in town.

My cousin and I returned our first orders to say the least. They don't pay attention in food preparation. However the restaurant beautiful view outside. Ohh cocktails are awful

Great food and cocktails at good prices. Friendly staff. The play area for kids are done well and keeps the kids busy.

Honestly, the longest wait, more than an hour and a half and still no food. You’re better off at a wimpy or a spur. I think the other reviews are from staff or family.
