On the 27 June 2023 around 10am, I got dragged out by two security guards for answering my phone while going out of the library, they insulted me in a way that I can never imagine. I will never set my feet on that place
Lovely place in the inner city of Tswane. It's surrounded by many shops at Sammy Mark's.
User friendly, stairs, escalators and enough space to study. Only problem is that the toilets are not serviced. There is always no toilet paper. Also cleaning is not regular. Desks always dusty. Otherwise it's a suitable place to study
Library is easily accessible, quiet enough to study, signing in without a card is too much admin. Guards at reception are not so welcoming,you can play chess there and WIFI is really fast and efficient. Toilets are filthy with no toilet papers,tables are evenly spaced out. Escalators not working,to get to study area you have to take stairs one floor up.
The library is cool but they can do better to enhance the experience of users. It lacks "that thing:

They close 15 minutes earlier than the actual time. I mean a lot can be learned in 15 minutes
It is a nice and chilled environment with every service you could need from a library, it has a thick variety of books, free computers for internet needs, a huge study area with cubicles for discussions, free WiFi plus comfortable sofas to enjoy the WiFi on.
I only went into the auditorium, but it looks ss though the library is well utilized and a vital resource for many. Each staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful!
