I frequented New World a few times always had great service. Mid August I went to the Samsung shop within New World for the 1st time. WHAT A PLEASURE!! Great customer service, best advise with regard to which handset to buy, support with setting up my newly purchased Samsung, +++. I want to single out sales consultant Lebogo. He was beyond excellent! Keep going guys. Thank you again. God bless you!
You can say that I am a Samsung fanatic, I have the S22 Ultra, Buds 2, Watch 4 the goes on. My husband gave in his phone for a screen replacement, was a little disappointed with the estimated time given due to stock shortage but wow we were surprised and it was fixed earlier than expected the phone works great and my husband is so pleased by how he was informed more than once that his phone is ready for collection! Thank you, I'll continue to support Samsung as I always have for the past 8 years
Had some software problems with an old tablet. Tuned out to be a 1D-10T problem on my side. Technician camly and politly assistant me with great patience. Thank you!
I took my Samsung A31 for repairs and they told me that they no longer have parts for the phone. As a Samsung lover I doubt I'll ever buy a Samsung product again because what's the point of buying your phones if a whole Samsung store can't fix their own phones? I had to settle for fixing my phone at an Indian repair shop near the samsung store where I got knocked off at a high price. I had no choice because I had an online exam and needed some stuff in my phone. Even if we buy Samsung phones that are on the market we'll still be told they no longer have parts for those phones in a few months time.

Terrible service. Knowledge lacks on product issues. A32 freezes. They advised I need to book in for software upgrade. All available software was installed. Phone locked for 1440 minutes, tells me it is User error and will cost me R350 to reset my phone. Definitely not user error as I know my passwords. It is System UI errors that does not respond
I received the worst service at this store. As a Samsung Product lover, I have supported Samsung by buying only Samsung Branded appliances for my home, I did not know that one day I would ever experience the type of service I had today. First, I had to wait almost 1hour to be assisted because the only person who works with repair is on lunch. I value my time, and it was a hard decision to put my time on hold, time I will never get again, just to wait to be assisted. Secondly, the lady returns from Lunch and I explain my concerns about the problem I have with my Samsung Active Watch 2. It was at first upsetting, but later thinking about it, it was a sad situation. With my frustration about my concerns I have with my Product, the lady started telling me how she's sorry about the wait, but she's entitled to Lunch. She later tells me she can't help me with my concerns as she is "just an employee". She's just doing her Job. Samsung is a brand represented by its employees, if people are just employed to do as their told and not come up with solutions to keep their customers happy, I am worried about the direction the brand is taking. After such a service from a brand representative, I will never find myself approaching this store nor buy anymore Samsung Brand. Truly disappointed
a zero star rating would be more appropriate. The manager Pule was incredibly rude. When I asked him what his name was he said to also mention in my complaint that he was the branch manager. Incredibly arrogant and not willing to help in any way. He literally simply refused to help me, saying that they only sell products and that I had to go to a service center in order for someone to assist me. I have a S20+ that does not want to charge through a cable or wirelessly. I also have Samsung Care+. I thought this store was supposed to assist with fixing the device because of this insurance, but Pule assured me that they did not need to assist me in any way
Definitely not costumer service orientated, they dont do repairs/neither will bother helping with a quote and not really willing to help with after sales service. Vodacom was willing to help and gave me an quote as i wanted, in the future i will not be supporting Samsung again.
I am appalled by the poor customer service that I received from the technician at the Menlyn Samsung store. I was told to visit the store such that the technician could evaluate the yellow screen problem that I had reported. I was not greeted and personal phone calls were answered whilst I was communicating my issue. I expect better from Samsung.

Horrible service I received from the Vodacom team, Leanne she is racist. They do not have respect for customers and I will never go back there again.
