The most friendly, kind and caring garage and shop. The petrol attendants go the extra to help you, the shop staff are professional and welcoming, the pies are the BEST, and the managers truly set an example for other owners/managers.
Bad!! On Monday 23 was there late afternoon to get fuel and was informed by an attendant that that I should wait or go somewhere else as they will only assist after shift change, why are there no notices of such in place,, this is bad service will definitely not stop there again
Racism and victimization at the hands of the car wash manager. There was absolutely no reason for him to be condescending. It was my last visit to that franchise. After paying for my wash and go, I proceeded to go to the vacuuming area and removed my 2 bicycles in preparation for the wash and go. I secured them using a pole. I spent some time making sure that my bikes would not in any way damage another vehicle - they were not near a vehicle at the time but I also made sure if there was a vehicle that ended up being parked there, my bikes would not move. The car wash manager comes and tells me in a very rude and condescending manner to move my bikes...because he wants to park a car worth R1.5million Rands. He spoke to me as if I had no understanding of values, when I was in fact driving a car of similar value. I would not want my bikes, which also carry a fair amount of value had he bothered to look at the brands, to be in any way damaged and for this reason, I had been careful. I moved my bikes to another location which placed them at a risk of being stolen. There was absolutely no need to that kind of conduct or attitude. He could have addressed the matter in a completely different tone and with a different attitude. Racism is a sad reality. I wish the franchise well.
The young Lady that wears glasses, scheduled at work on Wed Morning, 25 August has no respect for customers, she is always cheeky and very outspoken, this morning she belittled me in front of a queue of people because The speed point asks if you want to print a customer receipt, I selected no, the same as what I do at work, to save printer rolls on a receipt that is just going to get thrown.. I was told, "this is Sasol Summerstrand, not your work, here you just take your card and go, you dont press buttons".. Due to the "amazing" service on numerous occasions, I will spend my money elsewhere..
I was my Car here every Sunday and the service is always very professional and very friendly. However I'll recommend since it's normally so busy to get there at 6:40 before it opens at 7 to avoid the long ques. The car always does a great job to clean my vehicle. I'llalways recommend this car wash. The before/after photos below are proof.
The petrol attendants are the best and they are always friendly but the manager is very rude towards the employees, today I went as usual and the gentleman assisted me with petrol and checked the tyres, oil top up, as he gave me the speedpoint, a woman who is supposedly their manager rudely shouted him from far that he must bring that machine sapha lo machine that is already in my hand and being the first car there and the attended politely indicated that is his manager, he will come back with it shortly as furious as I was by this woman who is disrespecting me as a customer and her subordinate for clout I remained in my car. It's disgusting what I witnessed, rather opt for Engen in Humewood, if a person who treats a person as such is put in a managerial position says a lot about the business
Friendly service. I am from George and always fill up my car at Sasol Summerstrand. Some other services also available like takeaways, laundry, carwash etc.
I pulled in yesterday 30 June 2019, wound my window down and said "unleaded tot eerste click, en venster asseblief" - The attendee of whom i took a picture, one JOSEPH stood there, stared at me and replied that he does not speak afrikaans. Your attendee JOSEPH with his I WILL NOT ATTEND TO YOU attitude will never see me again. Note that as far as word of mouth goes spread the bad and absolutely arrogant service I got there
The 24hr convenience store is fully stocked for a quick on the go snack. The staff at store and fuel station are friendly and helpful. Regards 2021
