I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Table Mountain ring from Shimansky Jewelry Store in Cape Town, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and the service provided by Pule, Chene, and Chad was outstanding. From the moment I walked into the store, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Pule, Chene, and Chad guided me throughout the process with their expertise and attention to detail. Their knowledge and professionalism were truly impressive. The Table Mountain ring itself is a masterpiece. The intricate design captures the majestic beauty of the iconic landmark flawlessly. Every detail is expertly crafted, resulting in a truly remarkable piece of art that I will cherish forever.
While visiting South Africa we were privileged to take a tour of the Shimansky location at the Waterfront in Cape Town. What a beautiful store. Our tour guide, Constantina Messaris was the kindest most knowledgeable person. She has a passion that goes unmatched. She made us feel welcome and shared with us her wealth of information. If you ever visit Cape Town add this to your itinerary. You will not be disappointed. She is the most beautiful person and a fast friend.
Beautiful store in the shopping mall of Capetown. We felt very welcome and we left satisfied. In love with my Table Mountain ring ;- We were being helped by Adel Kleyn and a big shout out to her. Very professional and clientfriendly lady!
Two years ago my husband bought me a dancing Tanzanite stone and chain for Christmas. Today we went back to Shimansky to look at their diamond ring for our 21st wedding anniversary. Shaheema Abrahams was an absolute amazing and very professional consultant. Her friendly and beautiful nature makes you feel so welcome that you don't want to stop talking to her. What a fun and informative way to learn about diamonds and tanzanite! The jewelry on display was breathtaking and trying on the pieces was a real thrill. A big thank you goes to Carmen Rossouw and the helpful staff patiently answering my questions and also to the kind young man at the bar who helped me get Wi-Fi on. Loved it!

Shimansky has always been my favorite jewelry store. The ambience and sophistication at the Waterfront store is just so inviting. My greatest experience was when I met Sharmie Abrahams. The most amazing, selfless, professional and beautiful person/consultant. She welcomed me everytime I visited the store and always pampered me with drinks and chocolates, and encouraged me to purchase my dream ring. I finally bought my ring and Sharmie was the inspiration behind this experience. In fact all the staff are welcoming and thanks to all. Mr. Shimansky designed my wedding/engagement ring almost 26 years ago and my hubby spoilt me over the years with special pieces of jewelry from the store. I feel proud to wear the brand. Thanks again Sharmie. You are a shining star and a gem at Shimansky V&A Waterfront.
We visited the Shimansky store for a tour of the diamond museum as our last venture before heading back to Joburg and it truly was a worthwhile experience. Our tour guide was Tanya Coetzee who was very informative and personable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is even remotely intrigued in the history of diamonds to understand them now modernly aswell. Very good experience, it will be worth our time and money and if you have the chance ask for Tanya as your guide!
On April 2nd, at the shopping center in Cape Town, I bought jewelry at the Shimansky salon. During the purchase, I was assured that I would be able to reclaim the TAX at the airport. At the airport, I was informed that a few days ago the regulations had changed and the procedure for reclaiming VAT tax was now online. After returning to Europe, I repeatedly tried to contact Shimansky company through their website and FB, and I was assured that a consultant would contact me and explain the matter. So far, no one has contacted me and no one has helped me to recover the TAX. Arkadiusz Marczuk.
I had a good time at Shimansky today. Tanya Coetzee, you are amazing. Thank you very much! I learned so much today about diamond, Tanzanite might be the next big thing, watch out. and other precious stones. A perfectly cut diamond will give you the right sparkle. It is good to know about the 4C before you buy your Diamond and if you want to know what that means pay a visit to the Waterfront Shimansky Diamond Museum.
