Description

Africa Silks uses locally produced silk from the Africa Silks Farm outside Graskop to make pure silk-filled duvets, silk scarves, throws, cushions and a variety of other woven products. We also have the Silk Africa Skin Care range.

Beautiful silk products. Plus it's an educational experience since the process of spinning silk is explained in a video and displayed in various stages.
Really a worthwhile outing to do with the family. All the personel were extremely friendly. An incredible process to view. My kids even got to hold a silkworm as our guide explained the 3 different silkworm species.
Found shopping here a real pleasure. Staff is excellent, service great and the produce is well priced.

Beautiful products. The shop is so colorful and there is a hidden treasure behind every nook and cranny. The staff are knowledgeable and dont mind giving a quick demonstration. Don't forget the Silk farm
Very good tour by a what seemed to be a senior woman worker,thank you. A little disappointed in the availability of stock ,they seem to need updating. Beautiful cashmere/silk pashmino wraps not expensive. I enjoyed this.
Amazing place... Before you enter the shop, the lady outside on a yarn machine greets you with a warm smile and hello... Inside the shop, each item on sale is a work of art... Go have a walk through and a cup of coffee, its great to see...
Great stop over in Graskop with lots to offer and you can see the product being made in store. Understand that this is a hand crafted raw silk establishment so prices are high and so is the quality. Staff are extremely helpfull and will explain details of their process and help you make good choices. Great place to visit on a sight seeing trip

This most amazing shop with the most amazing people and the most amazing silk garments! When you visit this shop these ladies are not only warm and welcoming... They are very knowlegeable and they give you a lesson on the silk process from the beginning of the silk worm to the beautfully crafted final garment. I purchased a beautiful vibrant warm silk scarf for myself and a silk wrap for my mother... After the purchase the real beauty emerge... The Spirit of God and the energy of love came forth and the women broke out in song... And although we did not know the language... We knew it was worship and we joined in! To God be the Glory! Africa silk was not just a silk experience... It was a soul experience!
