This was our first pelagic trip, so everything was wonderful. We even got to see sunfish, whales and the delay due to weather meant we saw some some winter and summer species. We sat on the front of the boat, which were right in the spray zone, but that didn’t bother us at all - it felt like a sea 4x4 trip. Note: the guide and skipper offered for us to move to the back, but we chose to stay put. The view out to the front of the sea was great! Our guide, Garret’s, was excellent. The introduction about what to expect, the safety briefing was clear, we also had some wonderful chats about all things birding. Our skipper, Alan: the seas were pretty rough but Alan made for a very comfortable trip. Alan also helps to spot birds which were handy because sometimes the sightings are fleeting. The booking process, communication; Clear communication throughout the entire process. We didn’t quite know what to expect, but our expectations were exceeded! Thanks for the fantastic service from start to completion!
