Such a bustling place. You would never think you were at an international airport. The restaurant was filled with travellers as well as families coming to bid someone goodbye. The servings were generous. Service was quick. I’d recommend the ribs and wings combo. Cheerful staff.
Had a good time, even though i was on the clock the service was quick and detail oriented. Had a cheese garlic roll and the small portion of bbq wings to eat and a passion fruit lemonade to drink. Adored the combination.
When we look at our crippled tourism industry and think covid is to blame, it is purely because we don't realize that this Spur is actually to blame. This spur is, after all, the first spur that any tourist to this country sees. What a joke. Sat down an hour and a half before the boarding gates for our flight opened. Ordered drinks which came without incident. Then we ordered a smiley face with viennas for the little one and 2 x cheddamelt steak rare and chips for us. Fast forward an hour, we were starting to get anxious as to whether we're even going to get our food before we have to leave or not. The manager strolls around without so much as making eye contact with any of the patrons and instead has fat chats with the staff. The wait staff are completely useless. An hour in, out waitress informs us that the delay is due to there not being viennas, so we request that the viennas be swopped out with fish fingers, chicken nuggets, literally anything at this point, as we need to catch a flight. Eventually our food arrives as follows: Chips not smiley faces and viennas LOL for the little one. 2 x steaks medium for us. We ask the waitress to just amend our order on the till slip then as we're not having cheddamelt steaks as per our request, but normal steaks with no sauce, no cheese. She deadass brings us 2 slices of cheese, and 2 bowls of sauce and proceeds to use the forks we're busy eating with to place our cheese onto our steaks. At our table. Not back in the kitchen. So now we're eating lukewarm steaks with cheese that won't melt. Inhaling them because we need to leave in 15 minutes. Asked 4 times for a takeaway container for the little one because he wouldn't be able to eat his food in time anymore. 4 times. Still paid for our order and when the waitress asked if she's not getting a tip, I informed her that tips are earned based on good service. I have never felt more ashamed of the service a tourist to this country might receive.
The staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was Spur standard. But it felt a bit rundown. The tables are not stable and there is a dirty feeling to the place.Food: 4/5
I said before the food and atmosphere were amazing and I had had to go back, so that's what I did. Another delicious meal, Buffalo wings, staff and manager service excellent. Will definitely be talking about thisFood: 4/5
This is a busy popular restaurant with a play area for kids. So parents can enjoy their meals. The food is good and the staff is friendly, it does take a while for your order to be prepared due to the volume of people visiting.Food: 4/5
Yes please no other choice or place to go and have a meal before boarding your flight. Believe me been through all the restaurant and not one can match Soaring Eagle Spur. Great for family traveling to get the kids to eat something or even if you just dropped by to say goodbye to friends and family I will always recommend them. Enjoy your next meal
The service from Cheeseboy and Given for the three days we ate here was phenomenal. I recommend you ask for these waiters, especially Cheeseboy. The manager, however, is not really interested in being helpful or accommodating. She was cold and disinterested.
Had a wonderful hour or so chilling and taking in the atmosphere. The food was great but Judith our waitress was the highlight. Super friendly, patient and attentative. Couldn't have asked for more.Food: 5/5
Always very busy and noisy. Suppose it is normal as it is at the airport. Service was good until we received our food and then it took forever before the waitress returned.Food: 4/5
