Spectrum Art & Office was founded in 1997 as Spectrum Distributors, originally situated in 293 Gale St Durban, South Africa. Beginning its days as a silkscreen and graphic art supplier, the company diversified into remanufacturing and refilling of printer cartridges with the launch of its MegaJet brand in 1998. Megajet has stood the test of time as a leading, high quality compatible cartridge brand. The group moved to it's current location, 415 Umgeni Rd, in October 2003. With the advent of a better building, address and customer parking, the group took the direction of adding stationery and fine art supplies to its product mix.
It has since branched out into providing business marketing solutions such as the FabX portable exhibition system and other indoor and outdoor promotional and branding platforms..
