View over the river is amazing, saw and heard a fish eagle, big plus, not so much to do as far as I could tell, wanted to take the boat trip on the river which i was led to believe happened from there but instead there is a number you must phone to book, abit of a let down, didn't try the food, but will resubmit my review after my next visit and tasting the famous fish and chips.
Cute place... a couple of restaurants and 3 or more shops.... lovely ice cream shop ... well situated on the banks of a majestic river ... rent a kayak and go rowing on the river

Terrible. Basically a self service or no service should I say. If you are allergic to shell fish give this place a skip they cook everything together. Cappuccinos were those sachets that you buy and it was not mixed properly. We decided to order pizza and were told it was not available. We left without having a bite to eat. Disappointed as this place was recommended.
Really chilled atmosphere! Food is amazing and quite reasonably priced , service is a bit slow.. I would suggest table numbers and the table number on the order slip as waiters had to ask each table if the food was theirs .. table numbers would make service more organized and efficient
Loved the seafood. Snoek is always on point. Lemon butter sauce can do with a little upgrade. Otherwise, perfect food.
Seafood was terrible , know that deep regret after paying alot for expensive food... Messed up my whole day.
Excellent tourist attraction in Port Shepstone on the river banks of the Umzimkulu River, South Coast ~ KwaZulu-Natal. You're find a variety of shops & one of the best FISH restaurants in town " Fish on the river "
