He has been a preferred provider of Invisalign since 2001, being a Platinum treatment provider. He also offers clear orthodontics to both young teens and adults. I recently got my braces removed after a 2 year treatment. The journey started off mild. I had already performed my x-rays with a different  ortho and moved cities. I found Dr Flax via google and I was glad he took me on as a patient. Bringing my previous Ortho's recommendations forward, I already had a second opinion to compare with Dr Flax's opinion. There was alignment between the 2 orthos which is a always a good start. Also the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Also they do try to accommodate ones schedule. When I had a sensitivity issue I was slotted in for a quick fix and treatment adjusted. Also there Dr Flax has a good relationship with my dentist which also aids ones treatment. On the con, like other reviewers have mentioned, you will pay more than other practices. Also ensure you do your research and ask all the necessary questions to ensure you are satisfied.

Recently got my braces removed after a couple years, Dr Flax has been a professional orthodontist with the kindest co-workers. I recommend Flax to anyone looking for an efficacious orthodontist.

After having consultations with different orthodontists, I conducted much research on experienced Invisalign providers in South Africa, and I encountered Dr Flax’s practice.  From the first day, I was enthused by both the practice’s quality and standard, as well as Dr Steven Flax’s impressive, professional, and unique approach towards novel orthodontic treatments.  As a current and long-standing patient of Dr Flax, I am never ceased to be amazed by the high standard and excellence demonstrated by all staff and of course, continually by Dr Flax himself, before and during the pandemic. Apart from high tariffs, I cannot point out anything negative about Dr Flax and his practice. His practice runs smoothly and on time. All staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. Furthermore, Dr Flax went the extra mile for me numerous times - liaising with my regular dentist on the best treatment plan for me, returning every email of mine promptly and in detail. I definitely recommend his services, not only for long-term treatment plans, but also for everyday dental issues.

My journey with Dr Flax and his staff has been nothing short of amazing. I had a complicated case yet the experience with my Invisalign has been so seamless, quick and low maintenance - everything I could have hoped for. And worth every cent! Thank you to everyone at the practice for always being such a pleasure to be around.
