Surgiklin Day Hospital

Was accompanying my wife for an OP. I’m not happy with the service. There is no way a patient from theater left attended in pain just because some doctor needs his attention to her patients never. It’s either they get enough stuff than acting as if some people are not important in the clinic. Ward service it’s a no no no to me.

This is one day hospital I felt comfortable in. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They walked me to where I would be for the day and from there the nurses assisted. It was nice to see the nurse that put my IV was full of life, friendly and caring. She was so careful and gentle that made the process I loathe a breeze. The other nursing staff were amazing too. They make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions that they have information about. If you are scheduled to have surgery done at this hospital; I want to say feel at ease, it's much better than most hospitals I have been to

Amazing and excellent care facility, I was there today for my operation and received incredible care from receptionists to the nurses and Doctors. I was very nervous but they made a nerve racking situation more comfortable and bearable. The place is very neat and tidy, I would recommend it to anyone any given day.

Had the best service one could ask for. They treated my twins so well and I even found them a grandmother there, a very sweet old lady who made sure we were helped in every way.

Had an extremely horrible experience at this clinic upon having my wisdoms out. I woke up in a lot of pain and was crying, the nurses did not seem to care at all. After about 5-10 minutes of crying the nurses eventually asked if I was in pain as if it wasn't already obvious. I received no post op care from my dentist or any nurses. I was not even given any ice packs upon waking up, and when I asked for ice, it took about 10 minutes for them to get me one keep in mind I had all 4 wisdoms out so I had pain on both sides of my mouth, which was a brick ice pack which was not helpful because I had had my wisdoms out and was in extreme pain. There was also favouritism because my mother was not allowed into the ward after my surgery because I am over 18, but the girl next to me who also had her wisdoms out was over 18 and her mom was allowed in because it seemed she had connections with one of the nurses. She was also treated with a lot more care than me and the head nurse repeatedly checked up on her and not me. My page of post care instructions said not to drink anything with a straw because it can dislodge the stitches, but then I'm given a coke with a straw post op. Very very disappointed with this clinic. Go there at your own risk.

My daughter had to undergo adenotonsillectomy and I was so sceptical when the doctor told me that the procedure will take place at Surgiklin since it's a day hospital. But wow, I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was very lovely - from cleaners, receptionists to the doctors. I had my fears when I got there but once I started interacting with the nurses I just knew that my daughter was in good hands. The staff truly know how to treat patients and I must say that it’s one of the most beautiful hospitals I’ve ever visited. The facility is clean and observe all the COVID-19 protocols. I was thoroughly impressed with everything and everyone. I’m truly grateful to Dr Van Staden and the anaesthetist who treated my daughter.

If I could give you more than 5 stars I would! My first op was on Thursday and I walked in very apprehensive and nervous, but the experience was wonderful! From the front desk staff, to the nurses, theatre staff and lovely tea lady - all were so professional, friendly and prepared for me. No hassles with admission, excellent service from the nurses and the after care wonderful. A beautiful, clean, relaxed and friendly environment. See you all on Thursday for my next op. Your facility and staff are THE BEST!

Staff was so friendly when I arrived for cerclage stitch. I was nervous but the staff and my Gynecologist made me feel safe in their hands. Hospital is clean with good hospitality.

I had my son taken in for a procedure. Upon collecting him, I was not allowed to come in however I was allowed in when I booked him in I was told by a rude nurse I must wait outside. An hour later in the sun, I still haven’t heard anything. Very unprofessional

This is the most wonderful hospital we've been at. The service, the staff the doctors, everything was excellent. Keep on the good work.
